    We had a nice run regardless, it is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. I still think the best days are ahead of us, nothing to base that on however living in ignorant bliss is way better than being a Debbie downer.

    I would probably hold off on giving this guy a raise before he steps foot on the campus and coaches a game IMO.

    How about this for outside the box, we become an HBCU and join the MEAC. We could play FAMU and Bethune-Cookman annually and convince UCF to join as well to make a 14 team league with 3 in state rivals. Maybe a stretch but has about as much chance as the semi-pro league idea getting tossed around.

    I am just wondering when the Ivy League comes knocking on our door in the near future as we continue our ascent will we sacrifice our athletics to join the academic ranks of Harvard, Yale, Princeton etc..will be a tough decision.

    I am gonna beat the dead horse. I was referring to a Thread about UW and the comment was that “we ran the ball well against them with Shaw”. I said “ We really didn’t,Shaw was already gone and Mack only had 30 yards”. Not sure how this is inferring they played together. You mentioned Shaw playing UW twice but he never played UW, then you said you meant to say MSU and blamed me for the confusion. I will break it down, The original post mixed up the years, I corrected him, then you attempted to correct me but you got mixed up and then blamed me for the mix up due to the way I wrote it. A bigger man would have walked away however i was right on this occasion dam$$t

    Not so sure, with our academics at the preeminent level we have both Vanderbilt and Wake looking up at us with envy thanks to Genshaft.

    Nope, I know they did not play together that was the point of my earlier response. Mack ran for 275 vs WCU but only 34 vs Wisconsin later that month. Shaw the year earlier was our back against mich state after the McNeese state debacle. You got your years mixed up.

    It probably never should have been on in the first place, discussing what color schemes compare and contrast the best followed by International Futbol, the saddest part is I participated in the thread, the off season really does suk.

    Those really were not Charlie’s fault anyways, the word on the street is that they did not fulfill their academic requirements.

    Like I said, App State is still viewed as small potatoes U in the middle of nowhere, they would bring the status of the conference down if that is even possible. Army/Navy game is the biggest problem and they are too focused on academics/discipline and protecting the country to consistently provide a good football team, they will stink again soon. Do nothing and make more money makes the most sense and it is the American way.

    Don’t really care either way about the women’s team, too much me me me, not interested in rooting for them or really against them either. Ready for their 15 minutes of fame to flame out, I am not alone.
