    Since we are talking about transfers to subpar conferences to generate these inflated numbers I believe Octavious Battle will tear up the MEAC and put up 4K a year. I am really looking forward to seeing how he will light up the undersized Norfolk State defense.

    I don’t think any of us are sold on him however those were the first 2 live games he started in 3-4 years. He did not really progress throughout the year and I can’t decipher if it was injuries, predictable play calling or he just is not that good. Hoping Bell can get the most out of him, whatever that may be.

    SMU was winless that year and Tulsa was awful as well, he threw more int than TD at USF, granted our team sucked and not all his fault. Threw for a lot of yards in a crappy conference with WKU , The rub on him is you put some pressure on him and he will go down or throw away, no mobility and don’t believe he has the instincts to progress through his reads timely enough to overcome this. He may end up being the backup to Dak this year however they will figure out soon enough he does not have the goods to play at this level, I hope I am wrong.

    I love Mike White and enjoyed watching him at USF and I am a Cowboys fan I just don’t think he is long for this league. It is early but he was wildly unimpressive in last years preseason. Jerry drafted him last year so he was not going to cut him right out of the gate. If I chit on someone just because I had a weak point I would have chronic diarrhea.

    Got a green egg as well and am partial to my own however I will make the sacrifice and eat whatever you got as well, nice spread.

    I thought White redshirted, forgot Bench was immediately eligible due to the PSU perversion. White is a practice squad dummy who has not been activated as of yet and do not think he will ever see any playing time in this league. however I would change places with him in a heartbeat. You are right we did simply suck , no talent or a game plan but besides that it was a great year.

    Can’t have it all, I like most think back to 2013 when we had Floyd and Eveld as the 1-2 punch, after that debacle I am just happy to have someone that can fog a mirror. they set the bar so low I would never dream of 3 viable because it is not possible.

    The ND grad transfer was likely going to beat out Mack anyways, if he goes down they won’t have anymore viable replacements up their ass, they will be starting someone with no college level experience. I am currently sticking pins in my Wimbush voodoo doll as we speak. Now that I think of it, we are in the same spot, at least as far as experience goes.

    Not Sociable may have been a poor word choice, he is serious and has a stressful job, I like him and he is off to a good start.

    He really is a great hire, after Dougie fresh they all look good, however MK is not the most sociable but is connected and I love what he has done. He works his A$$ off and he is constantly trying to better FB And MBB, scheduling Alabama at home is fantastic. Now we need to do something with the schedule.

    We all do except Raider, willie had one great great recruiting year and that was it, I do remember him at WKU running all over us at ray jay. I have always believed he can’t coach his way out of a wet paper bag, Harlan may have been weak but he saved CWT’s career by pushing him from the power to the gulf coast.

    New year, bunch of kids, give the benefit of the doubt until they prove us different. The off season was not in a vacuum however we had a better than normal and K Bell will be our savior. Optimism is key until pessimism takes over.

    What is most important is I remember as a HS senior walking into Mons with a suitcase of Busch and a 5 dollar bill, was a simpler time.

    I am jealous and could eat lobster all day as well. If ever in DFW, hit Hutchins, it is the best by far but doesn’t sound like the style suits you much anyways.

    This is his year in a make or break. I am good with a bootleg or scramble but agree the read options made me cringe. I couldn’t tell last year if he has the skill set to get through the progressions timely or this was the reason he was on his third school. Was it all Sterling or does he just not have it or enough of it. I am glad he is healthy and has the weapons and OC to get his coveted shot. Hope he makes the most of it.

    Comparing apples and oranges, I love a good bake as much as the next guy. You are eating in the wrong places, KC too sweet and Memphis really only does ribs. Texas smoking is like no other, slow smoked perfection.

    It may be hot as a Mofo however for you to take a shot at the BBQ is completely unfounded and I take much offense. I grew up in the North and used to think BBQ consisted of ground beef in Manwich sauce. Texas BBQ is legendary and you need to stick to your clam chowder.

    Normally the only time of year we can be optimistic, we will know after the first game how many and how big our holes are and at that time we have to come out of fantasy land and face the truth about what we got. Until then I am predicting a conf championship and a NY 6 bowl, Wilcox drafted in the 3rd round, Kronk in the 6th and heck BB going in the 7th round after we avg 45 points a game. We can always dream until the season wakes us up.

    The good news is his stock is low and he is not in demand, unfortunately that is the bad news as well.

    U of Houston stadium in 2014 was 125 million and over a hundred million was transferred from academics to fund this, we could never have done this under Genshaft. They have been in a full out blitz to try and separate and make them the most viable P5 expansion candidate, look at their most recent football hire. They have been spending like a drunken sailor on sports while their academics has been mediocre at best, cannot remember the last time we hired a quality UH grad. They also use The Texans stadium as a home or neutral game when attracting a big time opponent, beat Oklahoma a few years ago at Reliant stadium. Not sure why USF could not build an OCS and use Ray Jay when trying to attract The Bama’s, Clemson etc..(. well besides money, fan support etc...)

    He will have received 12.5 million in the first 3 years with USF (although UT paid for 2/3 of that) and a waterfront property in South Tampa. His legacy is built just fine even if he loses all the games this year and is canned. However I believe like many of you, the work he has done in the off season appears like he has something to prove and in no way seems like a disinterested coach mailing it in.

You could not help yourself, no organized sports, C fan, lose the argument and you go to insults, big man, will be in Atlanta maybe we can finish the discussion there. I want him to be as good as you do, just need to see him beat up on somebody besides small high school teams. Not ready to bank that he will need a double team against UW, my only point granola boy.

    340 a health concern and 320 all good and ready to go. A guy like that can lose 20lbs in a week. If he was that good they would have got him in shape and on the field. Weak argument bro, you have got for brains if you bought that.
