    I prefer to think he actually agreed with me, he probably was trolling my thread of comments as well and realized I was a genius. Either way we can be the pretty girl at the dance for once, no benefit to picking someone for the sake of filling a spot, enjoy the additional revenue and relish in the role of giving the rest of the G5 the finger.

    It is a risky play, If their crystal ball isn’t clear it can really blow up in their face. Don’t see the MWC getting that excited about, SMU and Tulsa which are the most apathetic fans in the league. Memphis would not want to play solely in a western conference, this will not happen.

    Not sure why an AAC team would want to pay an exit fee to join a conference with lesser TV deal and lesser bowl tie-ins, can’t make an argument they would be better in the other sports as well, it is illogical.

    Keep it moving down the toilet, App State still has the FCS stench attached to it, they are small time IMO.

    I realize no room to talk however that has never stopped me before, we are better then they are because I say so.

    Even with their OCS and potential IPF they are still a POS IMO and The AAC has no interest in sharing with a bottom feeder, already have a few, if they do we will riot in the streets, or at very least be disappointed.

    Yes however we would have relegated football to an even bigger obscurity and not a good option, rather be in the best G5 in football than a hoops only participant whipping boy in Big E BB. Now no options anyways so make the best of it.

    Without hoops UCONN is garbage and needs to be kicked to the curb, for saving face at the very least.

    I am not sure we really ever had the opportunity to join the BE anyways even if we wanted too.

    I missed it too, adding UMASS would be a mistake, get Army in FB and don’t bother replacing them for hoops.

    Yes but in the end it is FB for us and MBB a distant second. If we can’t make football work than we are sunk in all sports. I don’t blame UCONN for leaving we just don’t have the same opportunity anyways so the point is moot.

    Nope, still the cream of a sh$$ty G5 crop in football and a solid basketball conference. Some conference money is better than none unless you are ND.

    This is good for them and not surprising, not the end of the world for the AAC or USF either. Fu**}# them as well, we would bolt this sh$$ show of a conference too if given the opportunity.

    The Lejiste tackle was the biggest hit of all times for the program, hands down, knocked their RB on his back, huge win, great memory.

    I was thinking and hoping this was the case. Nowadays kids want their names on their backs and easier to track the players as well.

    Great points, We have to do this, we can sit around and talk about every game in detail over the past 20 years and think everyone that has ever attended this university will be as crazed as us or start over and take nothing for granted. Travel to away games, donate money, attend all alumni tail gates and the happy hours on Friday. Happy to have a team and will do whatever in my power to return to relevance.

    That was the most in depth analysis of the uniforms that I have ever seen, i am impressed and also bored to death and cannot wait until they start this fu$$&?? season.

    Not so sure, a bunch of new guys that have never played together (granted extremely effing talented) against an experienced back court and team chemistry. I am not giving up hope until I see the new fab 5 play a game.

    We really didn’t, Shaw was already gone and Mack had about 30 yard rushing, as a freshman. Swanson had a couple big catches and RA had a jet sweep or two. For some reason I always tie Shaw to the McNeese disaster, he broke one on our first possession for 80 yards and then the floodgates opened and we realized how devoid of talent the team CWT inherited. Shaw was the only decent back and he was more of a scat back, they went to Michigan State the next week and played respectable than had UW the next year in CWT’s 2nd and final year of the powerless game. They were hard to watch, still wake up in cold sweats thinking of those years.
