  1. Let's not wear gold pants for the rest of the season. They are like the slime green Soflo jerseys; the team doesn't play well with them on. Whether it is a coincidence or superstition, do not wear them!
  2. The stop on 4th and goal stop they gave the safest unsportsmanlike like to Oklahoma that set ucf up for the their first td. It extended the drive and took them 4 plays to score again.
  3. It has been pretty one sided. Time to change that .
  4. Good news is I don't see a lot of our starters getting offers to play anywhere bvetter. I could see some of the backups or practice squad players transferring down to FCS or another g5 program they are offered a starting spot at.
  5. Veer and shoot(Run and Gun) operates about the same as the offense Heupel runs. You run up the middle fast and try to stretch the defense then hit a deep baal when they are not set or stack the line. The only difference is Gilbert's offense slowed the clock and heupel/golesh runs it as fast as possible. Heupel's Quote is pretty much what we have seen when the offense doesn't work.
  6. Don't forget to factor in which receivers fumble more in practice. We have a key fumble from the receivers in the FAU game.
  7. If we want to beat Utsa or Memphis we will have to open up the offense some and add more creative play calls. We can't expect the defense to keep then to 21 or less.
  8. Yep they decided to bench their starter as punishment for the next game and the 2nd/3rd qbs looked awful. When they wnated to run at usf man to man it was easy for them to drive the ball. We got lucky they didn't play their starter.
  9. Keep posting about ucf losses but we need a usf win column above it . I haven't bought a tpt paper ever so. I was just ahead of boycott from usf fans.
  10. I supposed the same way we let fau embarass the team and coaching staff.
  11. Boo them fools! Athletics is what made people want to attend usf in the early and mid 2000s. It wasn't pretty but we earned it. Now we should have the fire in our belly to play better next game.
  12. Was this the Cia operation @WoolyBullywas referring to?
  13. Yep that's my point add the creative and new plays this week. Inject some speed , skill, and new blood from the true freshmen.
  14. I hope so. Love to try some jey sweeps, reverse sweep, screens , or slants involving Smith's speed. The kid is FAST.
  15. Hopefully he deleted his article about Woody and talks about the win.
  16. It is a good feeling to have again that you get a win and still don't feel completely satisfied with how you win. Hopefully the team feels this way and ready to get after it again. Every win should raise the expectations and compete level of the team. We got some unfinished business left and I hope we can at least go bowling. Good news we are above 0.500 in conference play and 0.500 overall. Ucf hasn't won a conference game and isn't 0.500. Go Bulls!
  17. We only need some better receivers and linemen to be efficient.
  18. We are right where we should be. No excuses we got the job done. It wasn't pretty and was scrappy, but we fought for the win. We need to show the fight in the last few series every series on both sides of the ball. Both sides were determined to win and didn't quit. The offense needs talent to work and hopefully Golesh can get better talent through recruits and the portal. The qb ay this year has also improved overall. It isn't pretty but we have a better TD: turnover ratio. Brown and Wright can run the ball at times very good and seem very ineffective when the defense knows it is coming. The other running backs besides Wright have been struggling recently. I hope over the bye week we add a few trick plays and some more creative running routes to the playbook to come out for blood against Memphis. Golesh deserves credit for breaking the lower mentality again of this team and teaching them how to comeback to win in a game especially after getting knocked out two weeks in a row. My hats off to Golesh, Wright,Brown, and the defense for getting the job done. My gameball goes to Wright.
