  1. I think ECU hosts and deserves it. I don't think UConn should host, but if they are looking for a site in the northeast, then maybe.
  2. I wasn't clueless guy. Again, follow the conversation if you want to sit at the adult table and discuss otherwise stay out of it.
  3. I wan't the one complaining about attendance big guy. If you're going to jump in then follow along
  4. If they are required to place a bid and didn't, I'd like an explanation.
  5. Yeah, I think next year could be the regression although a few of these young pitchers cut their teeth this week and showed some potential. Have to see how many we lose from the line up as well.
  6. Either way, we're not hosting and we'll find out where' we'll be playing around Monday at noon
  7. Found this on wikipedia: The first tier, called Regionals, consists of 16 locations that include four teams, seeded 1 through 4, competing in a double-elimination bracket. The 16 host sites are determined mostly by merit – most No. 1 seeds host – but are also contested by bids from schools guaranteeing the NCAA a certain amount of revenue from that regional. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NCAA_Division_I_Baseball_Championship This makes it sound like they generally pick by merit, but teams can bid to be a host even if not seeded in the top 16. So it sounds like a school could "bid" to host if not a top 16 seed, but could be chosen as a host on merit without "bidding".
  8. I've never heard of this in baseball. This article says the NCAA picks regional and super regional hosts and if a super regional host loses in the regional, THEN the remaining teams bid to host the super regional. It could be true, but I've never heard of that and don't see why USF would not "bid" to host a regional if this was the case. https://www.thoughtco.com/sites-for-regionals-and-super-regionals-selected-320040
  9. I don't think we'll host, but where did you get this information?
  10. went there last year, proximity, and doomsday naysayerism ......I don't care where we go. Gainesville and Deland give me a shot at going to a game
  11. 10, but that was because of clutch pitching on our part
  12. I think 9 runners left on base killed us more
  13. Nice run. Now sit back and see where we are the #2 seed at.
  14. and nothing. 9 LOBs today. Gotta hold 'em here
  15. Probably waiting to see the latest weather forecast before making a decision This guy's owning us
  16. Yager should be available, but might be getting the final start. Eason only faced a couple of batters
