He's only thrown 34.1 innings in 11 appearances, 9 of them starts. I'm sure they'd like him to get to 5 innings though. Did it show who was warming up?

Didn't realize he was a true freshman. For some reason, I thought he was on the staff last year.

The WP that scored a run was to the target side, he just over threw it. Terrible pitch, but I think he is feeling some nerves. Didn't see him pitch this year to know if it was a regular issue?

I thought that was kind of on the catcher although technically a WP. he's definitely struggling with control. Freshman jitters.

Side note, UCF has dropped out of the Top 40 in RPI and Wichita State now outside the Top 50. Are they both outside looking in when the regionals are set? 4 semifinalists are in, Wichita State is most likely out, ucf on the bubble?

Just brought this up in the tournament thread. I'd like to think there's a shot, but probably just an outside one if any at all

We are in the AAC. You want to compare us to the SEC and BIg 10 attendance? Not exactly a level playing field, we'll start with traditions ...... Attendance has increased each of the past two years playing that AAC schedule. Not saying it's perfect, but it's not as bad as the naysayers complain about. I bet those 2 biggest donors have suites at the games, that increases the attendance by about 30 folks ..... His priority #1 is raising $$$$$, community awareness is part of that, but those big donors aren't filling the stadium. You want to harp on a group, harp on the students that can't/won't drive the 20 minutes to support the team for free. If we filled the student section we'd be pushing 40K per game. Not bad for what is essentially a mid-major program at the current time.

I can dream. We'll be ranked if we win the tournament, but uf, fsu, and probably stetson get 1 seeds before us and I don't think they're putting 4 hosts in the state of Florida.
