  1. I didn't know where to put this but, the decide wheel that @Brad put in the sidebar of the home page just made me lol in the middle of class, causing numerous crazy looks from prepubescent teens. Mine said Fortin.
  2. That's one way to look at it. I see it as a down the road alternative to picking up your ball and going home, in which we just pick up our ball and go play with the middle schools kids hoping we can beat them. The fact is there is a path, we just aren't good enough to walk it.
  3. Goalies for punt and kick off. Midfielders for FGs. Works in every highschool with a soccer team.
  4. My guess is, if we could pick him up off the street, not sure he can put in the endzone.
  5. Why does anything UCF does affect what decisions we should make? moving down to FCS in general feels like a b**** move, but to do it because UCF went P5, feels down right childish. Wouldn't want to be a in foxhole with people with that kind of fortitude.
  6. The only reason I know who those two are Who’s Your Daddy? Denzel Washington in Remember The Titans Who’s Your Daddy? Denzel Washington in Remember The Titans
  7. Maybe somehow, if he stays and ops out, he can keep a year of eligibility? Was he getting a free release?
  8. For the Rays its always been the same. Pitching and defense will get you there but you have to hit to win it. It would be a little bit of a surprise if they are able to hold down the Yankees and Dodger lineups in longer a longer series.
  9. Everyone referencing offers that our recruits may or may not have are aware that all offers are reported via word of mouth and some are just here say to make a recruit look better. Let CJS recruit who he wants and watch how he developed them. Don’t judge his class or his recruiting ability based on a loosely confirmed metric.
  10. Wait, so you are a Mizzu guy, don't give two cents about USF but you saw this and thought I gotta get my shots in at the Bulls Pen? How much free time do you have?
  11. There is certainly something to lose. We have to at least look like we belong on the same field.
  12. Not sure when he will be available, but I would like to see Fortin. I would go with Johnson until then. CF will need to come back soon though at a certain point we gotta stick with what we got.
  13. Hot Take: D'Eriq King is really good at football
  14. I realize I'm in the minority but bottom line, that's weak reason to disqualify someone. fine the hell out of them, take a set, take a game, but don't disqualify
  15. I have yet to see where the rule clearly states that a judge has to be struck in order for it to deemed reckless and dangerous. The article I posted provide two examples of tennis pros striking a ball in frustration and striking someone of the court but because it wasn't a judge, nothing happened or they were not disqualified. Meanwhile, only two weeks ago at the Southern & Western Open - which Djokovic won - Aljaz Bedene accidentally struck a cameraman after hitting the ball away in frustration Bedene immediately apologised but the tournament official was called out to judge whether he should have been defaulted. Fortunately for Bedene, he wasn't - receiving just a code violation instead.
  16. The rule is not clear, proven by the Federer situation, why was he not ejected. If there answer he hit a ball boy not a judge then clearly the intent of the rule is not safety if it is, it seems kinds backward to protect the adults so vehemently and let whatever happen to the kids but....
  17. I don't see how you think this was intentional in anyway. Also how is the federer thing different? That kids job is to get a ball that hits the net, Feds ball didn't hit the net and he recklessly and dangerously hit a trick shot into the kids chest.
  18. its just me but, imma keep my eye on the ball until the play is about to begin. She had no reason to be watching the line, how about keeping an eye on the guy thats starts play? You don't have to agree, but that's soft rule made to protect high horse judges. Proven by the fact that when happens to a ball boy, nothing happens....zilch, they laugh about it and tell him he's gotta be ready..... what a novel Idea And again my biggest contention point isn't right or wrong, its the severity of the punishment. Take a point, ok take a game, seems severe, ejection? negative.
  19. 'Different rules': Roger Federer dragged into Novak Djokovic saga Fans of Novak Djokovic have questioned whether Roger Federer would have been... I got it now, reckless and dangerous is ok, as long as you hit a kid and not the adult judge.
  20. My example was more about demeanor not intensity of strike. That's soft. Hitting a fan ok, but if your on that court pay attention.
