  1. I'm sure they were but do you think he disagrees with the move now? I think he would look at like, hey, i've been a part of this decision before and making the move, even with the incumbents credentials, won us a championship.
  2. I don't think we should look to far into whos takes the first snap. Lets see how the snap count goes as the game goes. CJS has shown he's willing to pull the original starter if the backup looks better even after four games, even if the incumbent has a conference title and took his team to the CFP.
  3. Here's the video. Apparently he had disputed some calls but this seems accidental and the immediate reaction seems that way as well. It's almost like a basketball player kinda reacts to a foul and then nonchalauntly flips the ball in a general direction and hits the ref not paying attention. I couldn't possibly seem that leading to an ejection
  4. Ok so I don't watch much tennis or really any at all, but i'm trying to get into it as a I now have 5 year old step daughter who is becoming interested. anywho, I saw what happened to Novak Djokovic at the US open and I really need an explanation of this rule. From my perspective the official was not paying attention, which is probably a bad idea when on the playing surface with a professional athlete, and then gets hit. Then the athlete was disqualified from the tournament. What kind of ridiculousness is that. Is that the case in any other sports? Anyone paying attention to tennis?
  5. agreed, I'd rather beat Philly, than the other NY team.
  6. No, but I'm pretty big baseball fan and I still really don't need MLB network. Baseball tonight is about the only thing that's worth it. As long as John Smolts is calling games, I can get all the analysis I need. Just gotta get Billy Ripken in somewhere.
  7. To sum it up, do you want unlimited DVR or huge on demand selection?
  8. That's also the highest internet package. I pay 40 for internet because I don't have the highest package thus saving money. You pay for internet either way though so you really just have to look at how much the cable packages vs the streaming packages and in particular to sports cable packages don't come close. You also have too consider that most cable services charge you per tv, most streaming services don't as long as you are all on the same internet signal. You can also switch your packages on a dime to save money in a pinch, something most cable providers don't allow.
  9. From what I saw, it was only one or two that they were expecting to play.
  10. Right, they show a lot of games on both but they try not crossover. this is a pretty helpful article I found little while back when I was researching something. ESPN+: Everything you need to know about the sports-focused streaming service | TechRadar Standalone streaming service brings...
  11. Right but ESPN has deals with cable providers that force people to have cable packages in order to watch ESPN3, by showing all of the games on ESPN+ it cuts the providers out. I know I had this issue last season because I didn’t have a cable package and couldn’t watch a game.
  12. Not all the time. And you don’t get espn3 with a espn+ Subscription. It has to do with the eapn3 being a part of their cable packages so they can’t show those games on their own streaming service because of the tv deals. It might have changed but I have personally ran into this issue.
  13. Espn+ does not include their normal channels or anything on espn3. But you do get espn3 when you get Hulu live. You just log in with it.
  14. I found that I basically stopped recording because I could just play back most of the shows I was recording. I could never watch recorded games anyway but I can see that being a benefit.
  15. is the DVR just for recording? if so HULU live will give certain hours and has a TON of playback content All of it. plus BIG ten, ACC, Sky sports. the whole gauntlet from what I have found.
  16. If hulu is on your TV, you are good, just upgrade your account. But yes for the Roku you would need to hook it up with a HDMI port.
  17. Yes, you would. It would only apply to their normal (Im lacking a better term) content.
  18. you dont have to use a roku if you can do it through your TV or DVD player. Gaming consoles work too (although you don't strike me as a gamer). In my house I use Smart TV, Roku and PS4 all running the same account
  19. Yes, or I also use a ROKU. really cheap and easy to use. just pick one up at walmart and plug it in. Download the apps and go. you can also use a firestick
  20. I use HULU live and its been great, has more sports channels than I ever had with directv at half the cost. I can also attest that I live in an area with little to no good internet options and have had very little issues with connectivity and streaming loss.
  21. Not true, in two of his four stops he improved the win total from the previous year in his first year. Which considering this is the first program he has inherited that wasn't a dumpster fire, Can't really say that underachieving.
  22. Right? There is a legitimate argument to made that they were fifth best team in CUSA last season, I mean c'mon now
  23. How is UAB at 19? 6-2 in conference USA and 9-5 overall last season..........and the losses were not all that close.
