  1. I can think four sports in five seconds that we beat them in last year so I’m not sure what you mean here. Most recently, our baseball team was playing in the post season, while they sat in the best seat in the house. Also pretty sure ESPN was doing specials on Q.......
  2. BULLS IN THE PROS: EVELD BROTHERS BOTH SHINING FOR THEIR CLUBS July 27, 2018 By TOM ZEBOLD USF Senior WriterTAMPA, JULY 27, 2018 – Former USF closer Tommy Eveld continues to shine at a new level in pro baseball while his older brother, Bobby, is off to a stellar start this season.Tommy Eveld was promoted to the Double-A Southern League Jackson Generals on Monday and earned his first win with the club the same day by pitching 1.1 scoreless innings. Eveld pitched another scoreless frame on Wednesday after earning All-Star status this season in the Class A-Advanced California League.Drafted in the ninth round by Arizona in 2016, Eveld started his collegiate career as a USF football player like his older brother.Bobby Eveld also began his pro baseball career in 2016 with Toronto and he's been getting the job done since signing with Texas on June 27. The right-hander and former USF quarterback has struck out seven in six scoreless innings (five appearances) since being assigned to the Spokane Indians of the Class-A Short Season Northwest League.Quackenbush a Save Machine in Triple-AKevin Quackenbush closed out games in his past two Triple-A International League appearances to bring his season save total up to 16 in 18 save opportunities.Quackenbush currently has the second-most saves in the International League this season and sports at a 2.23 ERA through 32.1 innings. Quackenbush appeared in 10 games for the Cincinnati Reds earlier this season before earning a much deserved International League All-Star nod.Selected by San Diego in the eighth round of the 2011 First-Year Player Draft, the eighth-year pro was a fan favorite at USF and set the school record for relievers with a 0.80 ERA in 2011.Villar Hits Homer on ThursdayDavid Villar ranks second on his Class-A Salem-Keizer Volcanoes squad with six homers after hitting a two-run shot Thursday against Eugene.Villar was quickly promoted to the Northwest League in June after being drafted in the 11thround by the San Francisco Giants. The third baseman currently has a .282 batting average with 16 extra-base hits and 24 RBI in 26 games with the Volcanoes.Prior to the pros, Villar earned numerous All-America honors after leading the Bulls in 2018 with a .374 average and ranking ninth nationally with 24 doubles.Find out how other former USF standouts are faring in pro baseball this season below: Name Organization Position League (Level) Team Stats Austin Adams Washington P International (AAA) Syracuse Chiefs 0-2, 2.43 ERA, 7 saves, 53 Ks, 33.1 IP. 4. I would say neither are necessarily better for the program. The best thing is them to commit early and convince others to come with them.
  5. He committed to xCWT before he left for Oregon and followed him there. He had issues though and I don't know if he ever really made it Eugene.
  6. http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/24198508/college-football-national-champions-20-years 3 of the top 5 come from Florida. Alabama has 4 teams in the top ten but none in the top 5. For me that 2013 florida State team was pretty dominant. I think the AAC wasn't as bad as they were made out to be.
  7. I am starting to consider going to Vue. I think I would need the 50 $ package to please the entire household but that still a major drop from what I am paying Directv, even if I upgrade my internet. The equipment is an issue. I only have one box because I refused to pay for more. I already have a PS3 and a PS4 so I basically already have two boxes for the Vue.
  8. http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/24191231/bartolo-colon-hall-famer-maybe-not-crazy Pretty good article about Colon and his place in the HOF. I think I would vote for him in a weaker year. His late career is certainly something to be admired.
  9. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2787426-arizona-qb-khalil-tates-tweet-may-spark-a-revolutionary-change-in-the-ncaa Doesn't this have more to do with the fact that the entire program has to commit to running the triple option. Its not like going from a pro style to the spread or vise versa. If it was any other style of offense, would this tweet have had the same impact? I don't believe so.
  10. I agree, but I will also say that the system is not the same, it just runs at a similar pace. Look at how Drew Lock was used and how Milton was used.
  11. Just because they run up tempo does’t they mean they are Scott Frost.
  12. How much does Scott Frost play into the offensive production that UCF is returning?

  14. All companies and the school really only care about is the material that is being used and that can be expensive, appearance takes a back seat.
  15. Or.........they just honestly like the uniform and aren't insulted because high schools have a similar uniform as us. Ya know, because theres no patent on designs and most colleges have at least one high school that has a similar design.
  16. full article Bulls redshirt junior RT Marcus Norman, who started all 12 games last season, has been named to the watch list for the Outland Trophy, which recognizes the nation's top interior lineman. Norman becomes the second USF player named to a national watch list this preseason, joining TE Mitch Wilcox (Mackey Award).
  17. Every successful QB in college, minus a few here and there, is a product of a system built around their skill set. The key for me is that he could be the greatest of all time for triple option QB's. No one has ran the position, in that way, better than he has. Also is he the only Heisman finalist from the AAC? I can't think of anyone else finishing in the top five.
  18. Lets be honest, Reynolds might go down as the greatest triple option QB of all time. He is at least in the conversation. His 2013 season was ridiculous. You can't feel ashamed losing to that, Q is hands down the number 2 though.
  19. Reynolds scored more TD's on the ground than any other person in D1 history, he also finished fifth in the Heisman that year. He was also 4-0 in bowl games I love Q as much as the next Bulls fan but I don't think he got robbed here. Congrats to Sanchez, Mack and Amichia, well deserved by all three.
  20. The irony is that because of my proximity to South Florida State College, I have to USF to differentiate from that 90% of the time.
  21. Well from certain perspectives we are near Miami
