  2. Not sure, but it looked pretty good from what the angle provides.
  3. If they have one I will probably pick, I just find it fun so I will pick anywhere and everywhere I can remember to do so. I will create a group for TBP and let you know. A lot of truth here, but sometimes I dance with the devil.
  4. Is it 15 for the season or per week? I dont really care about a low payout, I do pick'em mostly for fun.
  5. and what exactly can be said on this board to change someone’s lack of interest? We are in the AAC, we weren’t given a choice. Either get over it or.....well.......bye. It’s just silly to think that our powers at be didn’t do everything they could to get in the power 5, knowing they would all get a pay bump.
  6. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2789136-espn-tiger-woods-vs-phil-mickelson-set-for-thanksgiving-weekend The highly anticipated head-to-head event between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson is reportedly scheduled for Thanksgiving weekend. According to ESPN's Mike Greenberg, Woods and Mickelson will battle it out for a reported purse of $10 million on either Nov. 23 or Nov. 24. The event will take place at Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas. When Golf.com's Alan Shipnuck asked about the potential stakes in July, Mickelson said: "It's a ridiculous amount of money. No matter how much money you have, this amount will take both of us out of our comfort zone." On Forbes' list of the highest-paid athletes in the world for 2018, Woods is 16th with $43.3 million in earnings, while Mickelson is 22nd at $41.3 million.
  7. I am really surprised they gave up what they did for him. He is a plus 4 ERA guy. Anything under that is an improvement. A lot of analysts thought he just needed a change though so he could produce up there.
  8. I may have misspoken here. My point was that in those days, they were probably considered nice stadiums for college football and then they upgraded as the times allowed. They weren’t the “cheap” option.
  9. Archer to the pirates for Glasnow and Meadows. Could be one of their better deals in a long time.
  10. Got to take these out of the comparison. Can't really take in to account stadiums that were built in 1930 and 1950 respectively. That probably was the best they could do and just built from there. But for the record, I don't want Houston's stadium either, the fact that its UCF doesn't bother me, i'm just not surprised they would take that route.
  11. I think if students find the 15 minute drive inconvenient, then they will find another inconvenient reason to not go. One positive would be that Frats/srats not having to drive home drunk.
  12. I personally don't see it that way. I think its just having standards and using the closest example to show what those standards are.
  13. This is the exact reason we shouldn't draw any more connections to what they do. The bottom line here is that people that have the ability to make the OSC happen don't want to attach their names to something like spectrum stadium, they even named it when making that point. If the sponsor corporations don't want it, theres nothing any of us can do, I just happen to appreciate their stance.
  14. a realist, yes. Its just silly to think that we could do something that UT has been doing for over 100 years and people not call us copy cats.
  15. If we put a live bull in our stadium, people would just call it a poor man's Bevo.
  16. Don't build a busch league stadium. ill still support, I'll watch every game, we make more on TV deals than game rev anyway. But don't expect me dish out the little bit of extra money I have to watch a game is a stadium like spectrum.
  17. I did, wasn't impressed. Parking sucked. Had to walk a couple miles to sit packed like rats in a half ass stadium, spent most of the game trying to find the play clock hidden to the bottom corner because the apparently the scoreboard doesn't have that capability.
