  1. I never had any issues with going to RJS. If we played in Spectrum, my seasons tickets would get moved to the couch.
  2. The name of their QB made me go to google to make sure it wasn’t that QB for OU and TEX-AM from a few years back. Couldn’t figure how he was eligible.
  3. More summer ball updates. USF BASEBALL SUMMER BALL UPDATE Rising junior righty Carson Ragsdale (Wesley Chapel, Fla.) faced a pair of batters in the Northwoods League All-Star game on July 24, retiring both. He made two appearances during the week for the Madison Mallards. Ragsdale will be competing in the 2018 Major League Dreams Showcase on August 7. The annual Showcase will consist of a double-header featuring the top players from the Northwoods League who were selected by a panel of Major League Baseball Scouts. The 6-foot-8 reliever has a 2.38 ERA in 15 games this summer with 35 strikeouts. Redshirt freshman Jake Sullivan (Tampa) played in five games last week for the Savannah Bananas of the Coastal Plain League. He tallied three hits and drove in a run. He's fourth on the team with a .353 average, has scored 21 runs and driven in 22 in 34 games. Junior second baseman JD Dutka (Suwanee, Ga.) appeared in four games last week for the Norcross Astros of the Sunbelt League. He had three hits with two runs scored. Dutka is batting .294 with four runs and three RBI in nine games. Redshirt sophomore lefty Connor Eason (Chesapeake, Va.) wrapped up his summer playing for the Peninsula Pilots of the Coastal Plain League. In six appearances, Eason struck out 17 with a 3.48 ERA.
  4. I looked into him a little. He saw limited action his Freshamn year at FSU. 3 for 9 on the year I believe. Not much to go on but I think there is potential there.
  5. Player of the Night: Joe Genord, Amsterdam (South Florida) As the Amsterdam Mohawks clinched the East Division championship on Saturday night, Genord recorded one of his biggest games of the season. The USF Bull belted two home runs, driving in five runs in a 21-8 victory for the Mohawks over the Oneonta Outlaws. Both of Genord's home runs came in the same inning, with the designated hitter hitting a solo shot and a three-run homer in the bottom of the ninth, accounting for four of Amsterdam's nine runs in the frame. With his first home run in the inning, Genord set a new franchise record for career home runs. link Genord has hit 8 HRs this season and also hit 7 in 2016 to set the mark.
  6. He is having a great summer. It’s going to be nice having him return to the heart of the order. A little stability in roster full of question marks.
  7. Thats right, For some reason I thought it was Anibal Sanchez
  8. Didn't he make the call that ruined Sanchez's perfect game on the final out?
  9. No one will account for how good of a 1AA team they are if we lose to them. I appreciate your dedication, but for me a boring game on the radio for the ride home is just as good as being there.
  10. I think people just see his weight and assume. Not thinking about the fact that TE's have to be able to handle NFL DE's and Hybrid OLB's. You just cant do that on a 5'11 body. Their arms are as long as he is.
  11. Week one has always been CFB's least exciting week except for the one P5 match up we have been getting the last five years or so. Out side of that........Meh. I think week one is more of a formality than anything. Can't remember the last opening week I watched the entirety of much less even cared about, most of the time its a blowout either way, and if its not, then its just looked at as starting point to build from. Winning it doesn't do anything for us and losing it still leaves us the ability to win AAC. A great game from Q's replacement means nothing because its Elon and a bad game means nothing because its week one. However nothing can dilute the War on I4 for either side. that said, I will be staying and watching the entirety of this years opening game but it will have nothing to do with the product on the field.
  12. Thats awesome, There is a lot of good young talent in Cincinnati
  13. that is a good article. If they manage to stay above .500 for the entire season, they will write books about how they managed the pitching staff.
  14. I got Houston over GT. Based on last season's game and the fact they are looking like one of the top teams in the conference. it means more to both teams. GT is arguably the biggest name in our schedule, although their football program has hardly been anything to write home about, the game itself doesn't mean as much to either school in my opinion.
  15. It also wouldn't surprise me if a an NFL team moved him to the back field.
  16. I think he is too short for that position. He could make it as a slot. Good hand and a big frame are valuable across the middle.
  17. I usually do a pick'em challenge through ESPN but I don't know if they are continuing it this season. I started looking around and noticed Yahoo does one as well. Would anyone be interested in setting up a group for the TBP? Or does that already exists? It doesn't seem like you can make any picks until you join a group.
  18. I coach JV football and will have a game that night, but it's just me I can set my auto draft accordingly.
