  1. Watching this team from Iowa using the back foot forward method to bunting. I am completely against this. It maybe easier to get squared around, but its not safe. You cannot protect your face nor your chest properly. I have seen this style taught at a coaching clinic and was told it was an old school thing.....I walked out.
  2. I think someone already posted a scouting report for Illinois but I couldn't find it. Mods please move this if it does exist. https://www.thechampaignroom.com/2018/8/11/17641548/7-most-winnable-game-usf-university-of-illinois-fighting-illini-football-lovie-smith-charlie-strong Prediction I think it’s going to be closer that 24 points, but I don’t think the Illini will be able to pull this one off. Early in a season where Smith is still relying on underclassmen to make plays, the Bulls will return enough firepower to cause problems on defense and score against an Illini linebacking corps that is very much in question heading into the season. I wouldn’t be totally shocked if Illinois held the lead in the second quarter, but this one will go Charlie Strong’s way again. Final: USF 31, Illinois 21
  3. Well until the debt is paid, is it really a profit?

  5. Yeah, had Japan beaten us then both teams in the final would have advanced win lose or draw. Kinda sucks because there would have been a clear advantage in being in the other bracket.

  7. Or we just say that its pointless to pay for a cheap ass stadium when there is a nice to use. If I could barrow the 150.00 shirt, I wouldn't see a need in buying the 6 dollar shirt. But as you can see its really apples to oranges.
  8. I don't think they have made the official selection but I believe he would be the leading candidate.
  9. The more I see the guys the Rays brought in at the deadline, the more I like about the next couple of years. They could catch fire next season and make post season run.
  10. Sam was always a really nice and down to earth guy in college. Congrats to him
  11. we tried but him and Q didn't have a very good connection on go routs. He dropped some on top of that
  12. we have that on our list. It is quite long understandable. In the spirit of this conversation.......I started a club. Shocking I know but here it is
  13. Career Receiving Statistics Season GP REC YDS TD Long REC/G AVG/C AVG/G Total 25 29 436 4 52 1.2 15.0 17.4 2016 13 12 278 2 52 0.9 23.2 21.4 2017 12 17 158 2 21 1.4 9.3 13.2 Nothing against Wilcox, but his production isn't really anything to write home about. Granted he hasn't exactly had the best thrower of the football to get it to him but I don't know that he has completely solidified the position if this kid is able to play. Now whether or not they are equal in blocking ability is yet to be seen but CCS will see that in practice and if this kid keeps making plays in practice, its gonna hard to keep him off the field.
