    Oh no, it’s certainly football related. There was also a long twitter space last night that players chimed in to. Something is going on inside football and I don’t think it’s good.

    Saw on reddit that some of ECU fans think the AAC championship is going to go through Greenville for the years to come after the split of the three teams. They've dug themselves out of a bad rut but I don't see that being true.

    It has something to do with being able to reach a bigger audience than they currently can via radio outlet.

    Two things: 1. Saw a comment earlier saying that some are "demonizing" him. I don't think I've seen that from anyone. It's 100% natural and ok for us to be frustrated that we had a player commit to our rival. Never saw anyone actually talk bad about him unless I missed something. 2. He's officially committed. The kid won't play a single snap of football this season, and he won't be playing against us next season. Time to move on.

    I've got a feeling this has more to do with an "I'll show you" mentality than anything. I'm sure the kid feels betrayed and of course c. was going to be there with open arms. That's just how it is sometimes.

    So his dad, who really seems to play a large role in this, made it clear that “Timmy didn’t lose” the competition. That’s fine, and I can see that point of view. But what will he have to say if Timmy doesn’t get the starting job in Oviedo next year? I don’t even see him winning the starting job.

    Sounds like the kid got some really bad advice, and if you’ve paid attention to twitter it seems to be obvious who is playing the biggest role in this. Why you wouldn’t transfer at the end of the season is beyond me. Redshirt, tough it out with the immediate chance of takeover if there’s an injury, or transfer before the season starts and sit out a year.

    His dad doesn’t understand that he isn’t helping his situation at all. Him tweeting isn’t a great look, regardless if he’s right or not. Timmy is a great kid and I wish him well, but if this is how it has to he then so be it.

    There were a string of USF tweets from people at USF or with ties to USF around the same exact time all of this was going on. One of them was Grothe's tweet, which now seems to imply that he would be part of the university in some way, and now I'm wondering if Bond's tweet was related to the same thing. I know for a fact that USF had meetings related to expansion last week but I'd imagine every p5 and g5 conference in the nation did as well.

    Also, pretty sure they're higher elevation making it even easier to get burnt.

    technically we don't either but like everyone has mentioned, it would have been a great get. We're going to lose more recruits to c. now for the time being. It's just the nature of the game. But we'll get back to where we need to be.

    you can make that sentence bold but it doesn't change the fact that if we have good talent coming in this year and have back to back bad records, that's an issue. Not saying we won't do well but we still need to be better next season.

    Oh yes, I would imagine so. Luis Rujano is a pitcher I would keep an eye on.
