  1. Anyone else kind of surprised that Awoleke and Senat are behind Hector and Bronson? Either way, the DT depth is very nice, but the DE spot looks rough. If Tramal Ivy can come in and shine immediately though, we will have a very strong D line
  2. And clearly too awesome for Publix. I think I will shop at aldi when i get back. But i may need one of you guys to go in there and steal me some fried chicken! They make the best fried chicken there
  3. Oh i think its important to be on there too, i was just poking fun at Ned a star
  4. Btw there is a slip up on the page. It says he predicts only 2 AAC teams, but he is projecting UConn, USF, and Temple to all make it. But who reads this **** anyway ^.^
  5. ^^ youre too funny man. But these things are still fun to look at, even if they are based on nothing at all
  6. Thanks for the support man. Its been a fun ride, but i cant wait to get out and start classes at USF in January. Hopefully i get out in time to catch the USF UCF game at the end of the year
  7. You really hit the nail on the head. No one is talking about how innovative it was to put a stand out like Jamie Bryd in that Husky position. Now the defense will be different, without our star running around, and new coaching. I think Deatrick Nichols is a future 3rd round pick, but besides that, i think we have a lot of raw young talent, especially in the secondary, that can fade into mediocrity without good coaching
  8. Well i live on a marine corps base in california so luckily i dont need to drive past those kind of dumps, and do all my shopping on base. But i was fired after 5 years of working there over some pretty petty stuff. Ill never shop there again
  9. I dont get the Publix love around here. I hate Publix
  10. I will say 12-2 #13 finish with a loss to either FSU, or a random conference game, then a heartbreaking loss to Houston in the CCG, then a big bowl win!
  11. We may not get #2 in the country like we did in 2007, or have as many butts in the seats, but you can't always expect to break every record every year. I would be sooo thrilled to get 11 wins for the first time ever
  12. I was thinking Valdez Scantling would have the biggest impact opposite Rodney Adams. He is playing well this spring. I feel Cherry will come off the bench real well at linebacker. Obviously if Calloway counts as a new commer, hes #1. He had the potential to be the best pass rushing DT USF has had in a long time. We may want to sub in Bronson or Hector for running downs though
  13. The SEC schools like South Carolina who lost to an FCS team like Citadel, and was losing to UCF at half? The SEC east champ Florida who only beat a bad ECU team with ECU's 2nd string QB by 7? The Vanderbilt team who lost to Houston by 35? The mighty Ole Miss team that lost to Memphis, a team we know we are capable of beating? The Arkansas team that lost to Toledo AND Texas Tech? The Kentucky team that needed a last second TD to beat FCS Eastern Kentucky? The Missouri team that beat UConn on a last second FG 9-6? Not saying we roll the table in the SEC, but USF right now would still finish around 7-5 in the SEC West, and 8-4 in the SEC East in 2016 with our current OOC slate. This is our year. I am predicting a solid 10 win season in the AAC
  14. Anyone who thinks Houston OR USF is properly graded is completely out of touch with reality. And its exactly why i havent gone to ESPN for NCAA football news in over a year. They are completely in love with their power 5 agenda.
  15. Oh wow, a good but unfortunate read. Hate to see those guys still hurt
  16. The few positions of focus for me here are offensive line, linebackers, and DBs. WRs and Dline will rotate obviously due to depth Oline - It seems so far that the guy consistantly not with the 1s is Reilly Gibbons. Was this expected for him to be beat out by Atterbury at tackle? I found it surprising that he didnt get playing time last year, and this is just shocking. Linebackers - I would be fine with Sanchez and Harris, but who does Cecil Cherry replace if he plays well enough to be a must start? Many were saying Auggie Sanchez, but I almost feel like Harris had a sophomore slump after his suspension. Plus Cherry is a good cover guy, while Sanchez is a good tackler, it seems like the better combo to me. DBs - Looks like Khalid Mcgee is getting reps at the husky position with Fullwood and Abraham at safety. Does this potentially leave two year starter Nate Godwin on the bench? I wouldn't necessarily hate this, because I have always thought he gave up big plays at bad times, but it is still surprising. and gotta say, its also surprising to see DB Hassan Childs still rehabbing. But he will be a nice addition in the fall. Any insight / comments / opinions would be appreciated
  17. I cant wait to go back home and start going to games again... I can only make the away SMU game and UCF games this year
  18. It might be fan talk, but the first two games should provide plenty of time for mop up duty to see what AW is all about
  19. This. I don't think AW has a shot to start over QF until at least the cupcake game has been played
  20. This year featured a lot more Stringfield Honestly, I have no clue how next year will be. Thinking the team will need to be lead by Laksa and Laura is kind of scary (Not in a good way). But they will get my support no matter what. If they can compete next year, and finish in the top half of the conference, they will have my full respect.
  21. Wow, talk about a win - win! If only Harlan could put together a highlight reel of COA's accomplishments to sell to the sPitt athletic department. I personally would be thrilled to find a new coach without having to pay COA
  22. This is an awesome shout out. USF definitely has the talent returning to run the table, and I have always been one of those guys who fully believes an undefeated AAC team with a decent OOC schedule would make the playoffs.
  23. They fired their HC Donnie Jones immediately after their loss. The fans seem pretty happy about it
