  1. Even if you don't play the if game his stats were still really good and he carried the offense, but I agree that we all want to win no matter what.
  2. He would have thrown it for over 200 and ran it for over 200 if his receivers made the easy catches. It's not about the stats, it's about how confident he's looking making reads and leading this team. He is becoming the true leader of this offense, he's showing confidence in his wide receivers who are dropping balls, which is fantastic to see, and he never really gets down on himself after a mistake. In the end who cares about his stats, we saw a kid put the entire offense on his back with minimal help and win this game. What more can you ask for, seriously?
  3. Easy. Valuable game experience that he can't get in practice. I thought he should have left flowers in during the FAU game for another quarter to get more playing time, and I honesty agree with keeping him in this last game. The play call was a pass play where flowers scrambled out and made a play on his own, so it's not like Taggart wanted him running every play. As for Johnson, he is technically our 3rd string running back so of course he will stay out there, I mean yes he started the game but on the depth chart he is last, so I have no clue why you would have an issue with him staying in the game.
  4. I knew Navy would be favored but I didn't think by this much.
  5. My opinion changes based on what happens on the field. I always thought that Taggart had the talent to win and he just needed to start flowers and let him pass. Taggart is winning football games and opening up the playbook, and will probably lead us to a bowl game this year, and Flowers has improved drastically as a passer and only had one missed throw to Sean price in that game. I don't know what you expect but it seems even if we win out your opinion won't change.
  6. I agree, I don't necessarily blame Adams for his drop on that long pass because he showed so mich effort in just going up for it and not giving the defender a chance, and he was just unlucky in my opinion. Loved the effort on that play.
  7. You're kidding right? Did you even watch the game? Flowers threw so many passes right on the money and his receivers couldn't hang on to them. He is growing tremendously as a quarterback, and while he still has a lot of work to do nobody can argue about him being a bad QB now. The only bad throw that I saw from him all game was in the 4th when he overthrew Sean price for an easy touchdown.
  8. Pretty much everything is what I mean, they ran more plays for more yards while only scoring 14. The turnovers and our bend-don't -break mentality as I like to call it really gave us that win, granted our stats looked poor because of all the dropped passes.
  9. Same deal as last week, we lost in the stats category but won in the points category.
  10. You can watch a replay on Espn3 if your tv provider carries it
  11. True, they also put those numbers up against horrible defenses in TCU and Baylor and got stopped by James Madison, but their offense is a lot better than their defenses is what im trying to say.
  12. Their offense can score but their defense is awful
  13. Flowers is a good passer just not a great one, and with his legs we don't need him to be a great passer.
  14. Are you talking about the deep ball where they called pass interference? If so no I do not think he would have caught the ball if the defense had played it properly, but he at least game him a good shot at catching it and/or drawing a penalty which he did.
  15. How do we know whether he can throw or not? The only glimpses we've seen have been to wide open receivers and at the end of last game where he was very accurate, but Maryland was playing prevent downfield. In his high school tape he was able to throw the deep ball very well, granted it was against high school defenses, but his receivers also caught everything that touched their hands. He has obviously made alot of mistakes, but at the end of last game he proved that he could throw the ball, we just don't know exactly how well yet.
  16. Different tweet wold you be able to link or post the tweet https://twitter.com/usfcollin/status/650397903803039744
  17. How can our offense keep clicking like it has with rumors like this floating around? that's funny. Nicely played. I never thought the offense was clicking did I miss something That's the joke
  18. It has nothing to do with Taggart I don't think.
  19. It would already be all over Twitter if it was true. brad tweeted it I saw that
