  1. I wonder how many picked a Navy v Temple CCG before the season started. My guess would be 3.5.
  2. Navy is collectively the slowest team I have seen play yet this year, especially their defense. Slow motion all game.
  3. I like the effort put into the analysis. The rankings themselves are pretty biased. Let's call it subjective and appreciate the work put in though! Temple is, at worst, 4th. USF is at best 5th. ECU is at best 12th at this point. SMU needs to build off their win to deserve the spot they are at. UCONN is not a bad team at all. Not so sure about Tulane. They aren't bad considering they are the next to worst team in the league-although kind of enigmatic just like UCF. They could be very good or could be quite bad.
  4. You all missed the point of conversation, or have too short of a memory to recall why UCF came up in the first place. I couldnt care less about them, it began in reference to several of you crowing about how great you were in areas that stats suggested otherwise. I didnt even bring up UCF. You did. I merely countered some of your falsehoods with stats that were relevant to the teams you mentioned. I look forward to a high scoring game this week, I have said all along I don't expect a victory. ECU isn't trash as some have speculated though. We had the highest scoring offense in the AAC going into last week and against decent competition (rated higher SOS that USF). You guys are supposed to win, but I expect a lot of points.
  5. 1) USF 2) 47-35 3) Mack 4) Adams 5) 475 special teams account for some points, thinking a KO TD, blocked punt, etc.
  6. I do believe it is, but upon further look, it seems the Bulls have 90 total more rushing yards than UCF-so you have that. That said, their SOS is 48th in the country, yours is 67th. Also, their rushing defense is 33rd in the country, yours is 110th. I personally believe they will run all over you, like most everyone else has. Now, the question is, how well will your running game do against one of the best running defenses in the country? If you win that game, it will be in the air imo. Calling people stupid because they disagree is childish, and reflects poorly upon your fanbase. There is objective reasoning to believe X running game is better than Y running game in this case, I even posed a reasonable way to beat the X team.
  7. Mack is very good. Their running game is superior in quality and depth though. They have 4 rbs that could start. Killins is one of the fastest in-play runners I have ever seen.
  8. They said that before knowing how the team would be this year. It turns out that Cincy is not very good and in the midst of falling off the AAC cliff. Tulsa looks better than them.
  9. Have you read this thread? In what world does pointing out relative deficiencies equate to seeking sympathy? You are troubled, aren't you?
  10. There seems to be a lot of unwarranted gloating in here. Your opponents thus far have won a total of 6 games between 4 teams. Further, your defense might be the worst in the country. Your QB is streaky at best, your offense hasn't been tested (FSU was a blowout), and if Mack goes down....? I'm not in here spouting unrealistic expectations, you guys are funny.
  11. That wasn't even roughing the passer, much less targeting. But, it led to a touchdown so I guess its okay. UCF is getting shafted all over this game but idc.
  12. Temple is also pretty good. Despite this game ECU is still a solid team. Really, the American is a good conference, and definitely better than the Big East was.
  13. ECU's best player today has been Justin Holman. If it was their other QB we'd be down by 30 right now it seems.
  14. I would take the over at USF 6, I think you win by 9 or 10. Memphis looks good, but not that good. I don't think you finish with just 7 wins but if what the previous poster said about USF being 120th in the country in defense is true then I wouldn't call the odds of it happening caca-dookie either.
  15. You seem to lack perspective. It would have not been in ECU's best interest to not partake in the open call for the B12. When they were ruled out, they went public. I like that. You don't have to. ECU is happy in a competitive conference that is doing pretty well. Of course they would try to move up, but they have been complimentary of the AAC. USF should do the same because there isn't as much difference between the two as some would like to believe.
  16. simp=simpleton? Far from it. I take time to post here because, as very recently mentioned, I have dual interest in ECU/USF. You could use the traffic anyway.
  17. About the same as it is for USF?? Atleast one school is being straight with their contigency. I think you will see that while ECU would have been stupid not to send out B12 feelers they don't feel the level of desperation for the BIG 12 that some others have shown. As a whole we have moved on. Outside of this board I have seen little correspondence between the two schools' fan bases. USF largely isn't on their radar. There's more history with UCF. I'm an outlier with ties to both USF and ECU. Not to say there aren't some people that like to rile up any given fan base. Im sure there are some out there
  18. Ok I made a single statement about ECU attendance. I was wrong, not that it discounts the rest of the statement nor does it jive with what mission9 was suggesting regarding ECU fans and their attendance. If you admitted when you were wrong you would seem much more credible yourself. I'm not interested in appeasing or being endeared by soft egos Trip, as I've said before if you can't take thoughtful dialogue then ban me.
