I suppose there are other guys coaching in conference championships this weekend that we may just not be talking about? Jeff Traylor - UTSA coach took over a 4-8 team. Went 7-5 year 1 in the covid year. Has gone 12-2 and now 10-2 in the years since then. Garrett Riley - Lincoln Riley's little brother. Was playcaller for SMU while they killed it for 2 years, now is playcaller for undefeated TCU.

I genuinely think Deion needs us just as much as we need him. His whole game plan seems to be dominating southeast recruiting and out-talenting his peers. At USF he could immediately be winning 9+ games every year. At Cincinnati in the Big 12 or Colorado in the Pac 12 he may struggle for a couple years first, and after 2 years of less than 7 wins a lot of his shine will wear off.

I think tradition will help. UConn, Cincinnati, and UCF weren't exactly huge draws when we started playing them. But play a team 10 years in a row and the fans will start to show up to see them. In 2018 we got 42k for UConn but just 34k for Georgia Tech. Consistently changing conferences is terrible for attendance

not necessarily, haven't seen anything that would rule out Deion being the guy. He could have agreed Tuesday and totally just let media rumors fly so when he starts he can mention all the jobs he turned down to come here.

i think we've already hired somebody and are waiting to announce. Us fans are just talking ourselves in circles at this point Joey Knight gave the indication the search was over on Tuesday and I don't think he'd say that unless he was tipped off

if you are right we aren't getting Deion. If he has no sense of urgency at this point Kelly would have moved onto another candidate. This doesn't pass the sniff test.
