  1. Amen to this! O wish I could like it 100 times. These same people are the ones who said we didn't stand a chance in these games. Now we barely scraped by... come on man. We won both of those games decisively. We will win this one too. We held the best if not the second best offense in the conference to 27 points and we scored on them. All defenses we have played are better than what we play Saturday and we scored on those. We will be just fine you negative Nacys.
  2. In the beginning of a program any and everyone looks good in comparison to nothing. There will be a time where even Mr. Grothe will belong to the history books. I would hope all bulls fans would want that to be sooner rather than later.
  3. I'm proud of you sir!!!! I started to believe you disliked CWT and QFs so much that you wouldn't dare praise them. I was happily mistaken, Go Bulls!!!
  4. I was a huge Grothe fan (unprovoked Facebook politics messed that up for me) but some of you are making him out to be a God among men. He didn't do it alone, most of our big wins came against big schools in a down year. He gave us A LOT of wonderful memories and I will always respect him as a BULL but come on man. NFL caliber defense AND NFL caliber wide receivers (assumjng what a fellow bull said earlier is true). May not have had much of a running game, but the game itself was different back then. The team's we are playing now aren't slouchess. The American is getting some much deserved respect from how hard we all play. I agree this conversation is coming too early, but it's not unreasonable to think that QF, if he continues to play hard can surpass the QB numbers before him.
  5. I Will say even with your corrected stats Matt isn't in a different league. Flowers is in the ball park.
  6. 70+ is a C academically, but that's a good QBR for a college quarterback seeming as 50 is average.
  7. I read on here that it was 71 out of 100 with 50 being average. Make of that what you will.
  8. How tall was Evyld? I remember him having trouble with snaps.
  9. I don't see any of the start Bench threads popping up anymore Lmbo. Even if those who truly dislike Flowers as a college QB will never admit it, he has grown even in their eyes.
  10. Yeah I read in an article that they practiced that play a couple times in practice.
  11. We wouldn't have needed that much against Memphis and their offense is much more potent. We've got this
  12. When I look at these numbers I see evidence that we have had delusions of grandeur. We have never had anything but a serviceable offense. With the exception of one outlier in 2007.
  13. This my good man is what we call spin... You are good at it. They only scored 24 because that's what they could score. Most teams don't go out and says let's score just enough to win. I'm sure they pride themselves on their high powered offense and won't hurt their stats just to beat us.
  14. I admit I'm naturally optimistic so I always look for the positive. I'm starting to think that I can't get my Bulls news here. People are just too negative. The announcer said it best, we are on the right track, we're just a couple steps behind Memphis and having their type of transition. Paraphrasing of course, but I believe it. I, like you all, have watched this team for years. I started at USF in 2006.I know how "good" we were and I have seen us fall from grace. I can see a true difference in this team and I believe CWT and company are doing the right thing by us. Losing sucks for EVERYONE, especially the student athletes who are working their tales off, but if they can fight and believe why can't you? This coach put his reputation on the line to take over a dumpster fire. He's not perfect and neither are we, but saying and believing that he's inept and doing anything less than his best with this program is ridiculous. That was the most complete game I've seen from this team in a while. Losing hurts, but if we continue to grow like we are we are going to give lesser teams fits. Memphis only scored 24 points... That's amazing. QFs can throw the ball like "we all" hoped he could. He's becoming a great leader and I hate the result but I thank God for the process. People said we were spoiled in the past and every time I come here I can see why. We rose faster than we deserved and can't handle the growing pains. We want to fire and replace everyone for every minor offence... I'm proud of my Bulls and their progress. I hope some of you can get past the anger in your heart and see the growth. If you can't, watch any game after BJ Daniels went down. Watch any game from 2 years ago... Watch the UCF game last year and tell me you don't see the change. Go ahead and hate I'm taking a break from here anyways. Go Bulls!!!
  15. I just don't have it in me to hate like that. I don't know, I really wish we would air it out more often definitely after that drive. QF can throw :)))
  16. Or... Hear me out now, we had horrible field position and you don't want to throw infront of your own end zone. Could that be a possibility? Also if it ain't broke don't fix it. That 3 back set is beautiful btw.
  17. Don't you all believe in positive and negative energy??? Y'all get so dark so quick. Think about how well or defense is doing, think about all the praises they're singing of our game plan so far. Think of how QFs avoided that safety and threw it away. Think about how great it punter is. Think in how much it bulls are fighting, positive vibes man, who thought Memphis would have only scored seven in the first half???
  18. Didn't see that coming, hoped it would and happy it did.
  19. Against a high-powered offense you want to keep them off of the field as much as possible. So this is one where you don't want up tempo offense because our defense has to win us this game and if they're gassed... Even if our offense is efficient, we can't win a shoot out.
  20. This makes perfect sense to me. We can have a revolving door at the coaching position OR the players can make plays. I don't look at the game and feel defeated before the first snap. I do see missed plays and opportunities. Head coach doesn't matter when your players don't show up, then the bulls nation gives them a pass and says it's the coaches fault... What if they are prepared properly for gane day, what if we do make adjustments over half time, what if the players simply are not executing? I'm floored it took this long for the players to take accountability for their missed opportunities. The coaching staff has put them in positions of strength and for the most part they've missed opportunities. If you fail at your job is it your bosses fault? I had a rough year on the job part of last year and I own it. My boss set me up for success and I didn't execute. The ship was righted (by me) and things are much improved. Adams makes the catch and Abraham plays his position at MD and it's a very different game. Fullwood stops playing powder puff at FSU and the game tone is different. Players make plays when they need to. The OL has stunk this year and gets pushed around like a bunch of wimps. Sanchez played a good second half at MD, but needs to show up every play. Price has done nothing. Less than nothing this year and is being beaten out of his position by a true Freshman. Fire CWT if it makes sense at the end of the year. Who cares who coaches if players don't make plays. Go Bulls!
