  1. I wish there was a way to turn off the avatar pic. Every time yours pops up, my *** involuntary flinches. Best picture ever. We must became the Goring Bulls of USF, and make other teams as uncomfortable as you feel when you see this picture.
  2. 1) Duh, it took him long enough 2) I didn't know Harlan was a player also
  3. I think the same thing when I see those comments. If he is that good maybe we should redshirt him, and do things right for a change. If our oline is decent and our receivers can catch we should be fine.
  4. Yay, we're awesome again! Can't wait, almost time for some football! P.S. got the link?
  5. If only ..... Bottom line in this absurdity, it was something CWT said in a throwaway last 2 paragraphs of an article that had basically nothing to do with USF. Trying to spin this the way the OP, and others, have is a freaking joke .... not an unexpected freaking joke considering the usual suspects.... but a joke nonetheless. Yeah, because Taggart knew it was going to be the last two lines in the article. I should have directed Ga towards you instead 84. You can't possibly be this stupid so you have to be trolling ... image.jpg Dude, the haters have been here for years .... Love that pic, though. I know they have. I just feel like things on here at times lately have been a little dry, standoffish, and dare I say combative. I think some of the comradery has fallen by the wayside. It's great that we still have passionate fans out there, but the constant dogging each other seems kind of elementary. We will find out soon enough what our new class is made of and hopefully that will unite our base.

  7. Who needs opposing fans with the amount of pedantic internal strife we have? A little too much antagonist on here sometimes.
  8. Nice summation of what has been said in various other threads. I think the change in coaches will help, (some may not like this comment) but I think that getting the nfl coaching core out and adding a new core that is more in tune with the young guys will help. I don't think our players have acclimated well to the collegiate style of play, and hopeful these guys will help smooth over that transition. That is not to say that we had bad coaches in the prior group, but sometimes old pros forget the nuance involved in getting newbies to where they need to be. Also, although I am not a Bench fan I believe that if our receivers can catch and know their route even he should be able to be serviceable in the new system. I also think that Coach Dugans will have these guys in better shape going into this season. I really thought he was going to have a bigger impact on our receiving core then he did initially.
  9. Much the same way Obama blamed W for everything even after he was re-elected. You use politics as an analogy? What the hell does that have to do with anything? Both professions share a lot of similarities: kissing donors asses, being a spin master, always taking credit when things go right, and for many coaches/politicians they pass the buck rather then shoulder the blame. I take no credit for the Obama remark, people can draw whatever inferences they'd like.
  10. 1) No the new jefe would not be able to use that excuse, he would be getting the keys to corvette. Unlike the rusted out dodge diplomat that Taggart received. 2) Coaching is a quasi form of politics, you always blame the last guy. I think as long as he's here that may be a perennial topic.
  11. I have to wonder how the change in staff will impact Coach T and the team? Cooper, Bres, and Wulff most likely had very different philosophies then the new crowd we have in charge. I hope that having Kinnan, Hope, and the others on the staff will help Coach T make better decisions. Maybe with this new group there will be greater trust and more cohesion with the staff.
  12. The only way to run the triple option in Florida is if you can recruit your linemen straight from Walmart.
  13. 1) Which QB will be named starter to open the season vs. FAMU? Flowers 2) Will this be the same QB that starts the season's final game vs UCF? Yes 3) How many net offensive yards will the Bulls new offense total vs. FAMU? 325ish, I hope for a lot more. 4) Do you expect the Bulls to score a defensive touchdown against FAMU? At least 1. 5) Where are you on the Optimism Meter, for the season? Low, Medium or High? All sarcasm aside, medium. There are multiple areas of concern, we may have some of the right people but do we have enough? Also, can our fragile young team take being in tough games? Does our team have confidence and will it last? The beginning of season could be rough, can we keep our cool and play at the high level need not only to compete, but bring home the wins?
  14. The more plugged in he is the better. We need more people who know how to win involved with our team.
  15. Can you guys stop bringing logic into this? I thought this was a logic free zone. We beat them before and let's beat them again. These initial ranking mean nothing any. Plus who has the better coac...... Lol
  16. How is this really a thread, and more importantly how is this debatabull? Everyone who's not Helen Keller knows we were terrible, and not one of our qbs was (insert word here) (suggestions: consistent, good, serviceable, worth their weight in ____, feel free to conjure up your own pejorative).
  17. 23-19, we go wildcat early and often. Mack ends the game with more passing yards than Flowers.
  18. It's taken forever for us to shrug off this Holtz funk but with all the hype, emotions, and off-season induced amnesia/nostalgia who knows how this team will turn out. Hopefully they turn out to be the team doing the ass kicking and not getting their asses kicked. We have a lot of new floating around right now, and I hope new turns out to be good. No more looking like the three stooges on field, picking up stupid penalties and dropping balls that a single-armed one eyed midget could catch.
