    Our only chance now is if temple loses at uconn or at tulane as i don't see them losing at home to ecu. Have to pray for a miracle for us to get in over temple. We also can't afford a loss to anyone

    We'd have a better chance of getting charlie strong to come here as our DC than Leavitt. Don't see him coming back with Judy here

    If we win out and temple loses once we go to the conference title game. Now if temple loses twice we can afford to lose once and still go to the conference title game

    A loss to navy all but knocks us out of the aac title game. Don't see temple losing 2 of their remaining conference games

    I kinda like that taggart has said he is making changes on the defensive side of the ball but won't say publicly what they are. Why tell the opposing team what ur going to do.

    It is a possibility since Houston lost to smu. Looks like if we make it to the title game we would either play navy or Memphis as Houston already has 2 losses and still has to play Memphis.

    Our position is we must win out and hope temple loses at least once. It looks like temples toughest game is against Cincy but unfortunately we have navy and Memphis plus smu which just dismantled Houston at home where we were play them

    Taggart did change the offense after the Memphis game last year so he very easily could change the defense since he knows the 4-2-5 is not effective at all

    We might be best to put all 11 guys on the line against navy and blitz all night from all sides

    We might be best fit to get rid of the 4-2-5 defense and maybe go back to something basic that has success at stopping the run. Navy will run so we must show that we can contain it and it won't occur under the 4-2-5. The only positive thing from last night is that if we can find a way to win out and we get some help with a temple loss we can still make the conference title game but we can't afford anymore losses here on out. Maybe taggart learns a lesson from last year where he tried to run the power run offense until the loss to memphis where he realized it wouldn't work here and he went to the spread. Maybe he can apply this to the defense and realize we can't run the 4-2-5 and tries to run something else the rest of the year

    Woodie should have never been offered the DC job to begin with. he should have remained a position coach and someone else should have been brought in. I wonder if Leavitt would like another chance here as a DC

    This loss is solely on the defense. Everyone knows QF can only throw screen pass with the occasional long bomb. so basically if you can shut down our running attack and force Flowers to throw you will beat us since throwing is not Flowers strength. Plus can we demote Woodie now and bring in a new DC next year who knows how to run a defense and can teach how to tackle. This is approaching Cosh levels of badness

    The great thing about our offense is that it can score in a flash of lightning. Now if we could get a consistent passing game to go along with our rushing attack we would be scary good.

    Penalties have killed this team all season.

    If we can keep them to 3 that would be a win for the defense. We really need to figure out why our defense keeps giving up points on the first drive
