  1. I missed the sarcasm angle by jtrue. But, stranger things have happened- the Bulls could be playing in that game
  2. Last time I checked, there wasn't any usf bulls stuff in Ray Jay. Only flags and posters on usf game days.
  3. Tags need to get some stud juco lineman to run his offense effectively and turn this program around. Hoping that the team will at least win 6 games in year two.
  4. What ever happened to max lang? He was a high recruit who hasn't started one game yet.
  5. I think the problem of O-line started with CJL's last hire for coaching the O-line....I believe it was a local hs coach and the unit which was never great to begin with, started going downhill. Skip did recruit a bunch of 3 star lineman, but none has panned out so far especially the tackles. White was running to his right on practically every throw in the game against rutgers....the left tackle was horrendous in that game.
  6. Actually most of the penalties were committed by upperclassmen like lynch, Q, and D Williams.
  7. He will be a 2nd or 3rd round pick likely,so I don't see him coming back. Hopefully the Bulls get some De recruits soon.
  8. When your second best bowl is beef o bradys, things are not looking well for this conference. This bowl used to be the worst bowl for the old Big East
  9. K nadelman will be good. Saw him nail 50 yarders in warm ups with ease.
  10. We have about 22k season ticket holders and if you add about 5k students, you will have at least half full stadium for most games. I would also reduce the student tickets to 5k since their support was pathetic this season.
  11. Build a stadium like Houston for 45k to 50k capacity with the ability to expand later. It cost around 105 million, so it might be affordable with selling the stadium name rights to a sponsor and money from concessions. I used to think ray jay was fine till recently. The atmosphere just isn't there. For land, how about building it where the university square mall is?
  12. Like dogma wrote, white didn't get any meaningful reps with the 1s/2s till October. Give the kid full spring camp and a decent o line, then you will see a much improved player next year. Let me put it this way, if okorn of Houston played in this offense, does anyone think he would've done better?
  13. We better lock up breshnan and especially Cooper before Bcs teams come asking for them.
  14. I wonder if dunkley was running the wrong route on the int. The pass wasn't even close
  15. The last pick that bortles threw was called incorrectly. The db never hit his knee on the ground and it should have been a pick 6
  16. Patrick was a great recruiter too, and I believe he was an all American Defensive end at the U
  17. Secondary has improved since freshman players started to play more. But their not getting any support from the D-line. I think its coaching that is holding the D-line back.

  19. George Selvie always credited former Bucs Defensive end/ former usf D-line coach Steve White for his development. I believe he is still available and I hope cwt will hire a better coach during the off season.
  20. I have gotta say that the most disappointing unit of this years football team has been the much hyped D-line. The Bulls are tied for 8th/9th in sacks in AAC. And the Bulls sacks leaders Giddens, sager, and possibly Lynch will be gone after this season. I am wondering if cwt made the right choice for D-line coach. We all knew that this team was weak at O-line, Qb, and Wr's but the D-line was considered to be the best unit.
  21. All I am saying is try something else to ease of the 3rd and long. Smu was loading up the box to stop the run on first and second downs. How about a short slant pass on first down for a change? I was at the game on Saturday, and you can predict that the Bulls were going to run on every first down play. The Bulls running game have been shut down for the last 4 games now and he keeps calling running plays. I don't think he is a bust, but I think he is not adapting well to the talent they have now. I am not impressed with his half time adjustments either.
  22. On the bright side, the defense has been playing much better lately with all of the freshman playing at db.
  23. Their offense is good, but not great by any means. They struggled against Memphis and Houston. That being said, we have no offense so I expect them to cover 31-6. I can kinda predict our offense on Friday. First down- run inside tackle for one yard. Second down - another run inside the tackles after false star penalty for two yards. On third and 12, short 5 yard throw to out te and punt. This tags stanford power offense.
  24. SpeedyBull got a valid point. The McNeese St O line did look bigger than our O line. If fact, every team we played had bigger o line than we do. White was pressured on practically every throw while the SMU qb had time to go to his second or third guy for most of the night.
