  1. Robles could get a preferred walk on status with the Bulls?
  2. Jup, I just don't see Hudson or Knox starting this year. LT is one of the hardest positions for a freshman to start and you rarely see it in college football. If the Bulls get a good juco recruit, then he has a good chance to be a day one starter.
  3. Max Lang could not crack the starting lineup last two years and that was the worst O-line in bulls history. I'm hoping hall or someone else can grab the starting LT spot this coming season.
  4. Let's wait until signing day to really evaluate this upcoming class, hopefully the bulls will not loose any of their commits till nsd. But if CWT doesn't get a starting left tackle from this class, it will be another bad season for the bulls. I hope he gets a juco tackle who is ready to start.
  5. I think his offers are legit and he already visited uf, Nebraska, Purdue, and Syracuse just in the past month. I really don't know if he will pan out for the bulls, but I rather have cwt get as many tackles as he can get. Btw, this player does have commitment issues. http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/1506724-monstrous-2014-recruit-denzel-ward-decommits-from-michigan-wolverines
  6. Opinions of IMG coaches vs coaches from major programs who are paid way more to make decisions about a player. You think all of these coaches were fooled? You don't think they put in their time to evaluate him? And btw, these programs regularly send offensive lineman to the nfl.
  7. Jup, every scouting site I checked lists these schools as his offers. These offers are from major programs who routinely get good O-line recruits. I will trust these coaches evaluation over any writer's star/rank opinions from these scouting sites. He is down to cuse and the bulls since he knows he has a very good chance of starting right away.
  8. How do you guys know ward isn't athletic or strong enough? Have you looked at his offer list? Michigan, Ohio state, Florida, Oklahoma, Ucla etc. That too me is a good indicator than the star rating system of how potentially good a player could be in the next level. Not saying he will be good, but that many top schools are trying to get this guy and the main reason is that they think he can play right away.
  9. I am saying that was worse. He was 5 star most sought after recruit in Tampa and the bulls offered him first before any other teams.
  10. At least this is better than VGIII committing to uf when his dad was still a coach with the bulls. VGIII is a potential nfl first round type player.
  11. Good pickup for CWT...can he still be an early enrolle for spring ball?
  12. Like Bruno as well, but he might be playing on the d-line or as a guard. I rarely seen offensive lineman come in as true freshman and be good in their first year unless they were already big and strong coming in from hs. Knox is talented but around 260-280 lbs. Btw most O-line players are flabby and the good ones are tall too.
  13. Knox and Hudson will be freshman and they are not physically ready for 2014 season. I don't think either of them are even at 300 lbs yet. Getting ward is critical imo for this offense to succeed this year. He can challenge for the starting tackle spot from day one. It's going to be a long season for the offense if the bulls are starting the same tackles this coming season.
  14. I think porter picks uf. The Caldwell bros both played qb at the same Jefferson hs ended up at uf as successful wrs. Would have been a good player for the bulls, but let's hope taggs can get some signing day surprises.
  15. Ucf hadn't done squat till this year and they did finally beat some decent teams this year. That being said, how do they get the edge based on one year? Would not surprise me if they get only 6 wins next year. I'm not saying the bulls are going to be better, but the expansion will be based on one season?
  16. Bulldally/Gismo, what's the timeline you are hearing on when the big 12 is looking to expand? Any idea about the second team?
  17. I'm sure coach Heath will take care of the dad soon behind close doors and all of these allegations will go away.
  18. Well if Judy hired Woolard, then she's as responsible for this mess as the A.D. You don't hire someone from a mediocre sports school like St. Louis to run a athletic program like usf.
  19. Hire the top associate A.D. from a big time football school. Don't hire someone from a mediocre bball school like our previous hire and I also believe whoever hired Woolard should be fired as well.
  20. I was surprised that drew didn't make it here. Was it related to academics or just that csh decided to go back on his word with drew?
  21. Good hire for both the wr and qb positions. I also think that Reaves will be a better qbs coach than Sheridan.
  22. Based on his current weight, he's likely going to be an outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense.
  23. MB could be heading back to a high school as a HC again.
  24. Good article on Carnes as well....what a waste of talent when he could have started here and instead committed to huskers. I never understood why especially the top qbs commit to the same schools when they know that they have to compete with another qb for the one starting position. I remember in one year when Tennessee got two 5 star qbs in the same class and later one of them ended up transferring after two years. Why don't these guys consider going to the lower level schools?
  25. Jup, the Evelds were walk ons with no star rating or D1 offers coming out of high school. I meant players like O'korn and Dinovo whom we recruited at the end when our star qb recruit started wavering on his commitment
