-- Both Willie Taggart and Wells have been impressively candid in addressing the strength level of the offensive line. "They've got to get stronger, and I hope they've had a good summer," Wells said. "They were extremely weak coming in, for what we do. Extremely weak. They've approached it really hard from what we saw in the weight room in spring and winter. Hopefully they'll continue to do that, and if they can get that going where we need to go, I think we have good quality depth there."

I can't find the link but I could have sworn that one of our coaches came out and said true freshman Dominique Threatt was the strongest player on our team. A true freshman people!!!!! Our offense as we all know begins and ends with the O-Line. Anyone who has watched Stanford play this year knows their bread and butter is running off the right side with a pulling guard. Looks familiar? We run the same play except we gain 1-3 yards a pop compared to 4-7.

Hans Straub with his off season strength and conditioning program is the single most important aspect of turning this program around.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
