A perennial losing football team is a culture...a mindset that is developed over time. It happens when a team no longer believes in themselves and they find ways to lose. They'll sometimes hang in a game and put up a good fight, but always wither and die in the 4th quarter because they expect lose. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Perennial losers believe in moral victories and make statements like,

"There's no shame in losing to a better team."

Anyone that thinks its ok to lose is a loser! Ok now bring on the excuses! Don't face the truth, just bring on the excuses!
