Now a little safety help. USF leads over KY, TN, MSU and Ole Miss and others from a nice offer list.Brings the thunder in really competitive football program. Really great to see the recruiting efforts in GA. Those GA boys like coming to the beach.TN will be a little upset

From what I can gather, he apparently has been going back and forth with Miss St and USF as his leader. Hopefully, we end up on top with him.

South Florida and MIssissippi State are probably comparable in current football strength, at least while disregarding some of USF's road games being in cold weather. But, as USF is in a better location, has more potential, and can be more competitive in its conference, I think it should be more desirable.

That's an important trait in a safety.

That's why I loved Joyce when we recruited him. Not, to mention that he was also an All-state hurdler and was fearless.

John Lynch's ability to hit, contributed to his reputation as an elite safety. It can really make a difference for a defense, even if the player is not the most talked about on the team.

I like seeing Joyce contribute to the defense, too.

When a wr has to worry about getting laid out by a safety it makes them not want to run across the middle. Fear is a great thing for a defense! I'd love to see us get even more aggressive and nasty on d

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
