this is why Boise should join the Big East... one loss in the MWC and you're fizzorked. one loss in the Big East and you're a ******* superstar!

matter of fact, 3 of the 7 BE champs since Miami bolted in 2004 have had two conference losses.

and that's not even mentioning non-con losses. in the MWC, Boise can lose a grand total of ONE game, conference or non-con and the BCS hopes are flushed down the crapper. in the Big East, u can lose all your non-con games and up to TWO conference games and still have a shot at a BCS bowl.

it would be stupid for Boise not to join after these past two season fails

I think the loss to TCU today tips the scales. They might have been waiting until after tonight's game to make their decision, but I think they join now.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
