I am excited that it is looking like we are staying in the Big East with exciting teams like Boise State, Houston, the rushing machines that are the service academys, and a June Jones recharged SMU. I even look forward to taking my future wife (in two weeks!) on road trips to the Air Force Academy and Naval Academy and thee Blue Field to eat some awesome french fries......to the UCrapF games to show her that the Clemson fans were great compared to the hatred the Orlando fans have for us. This was not the worst case at all.....the worst case would us being left out and begging to get into that M-CUSA monster league that has no chance to get AQ status! Its gameday today and its good to be a Bulls fan!!! GO BULLS!!!  :)

If this comes together then we have a better football conference than we had before the defections (what has Pitt or Syracuse done in the last 5 years - Boise and TCU are a wash).  I agree, we have some good road trip destinations with this conference lineup and its our best option since we are not being considered by the Big 12, ACC or SEC.  Let USF grow in this conference for 5 - 10 years and then we will be an attractive expansion candidate for any conference.  All we need is more time to let the university grow academically and for the football team to accumulate a few BE championships.  All of us want it now but we are still a young university / program that needs time to develop.  The future is bright and we all know the potential for USF.
