for now.

Without a doubt, USF caught a huge break going to the Big East.  Since then USF has been working on doing the right thing, such as upgrading all the on campus athletic venues and infrastructure.  Spending money on coaching and raising the acadenic standards of incoming students.  However, the factor that has prevented USF from being asked to dance by the other BCS Conferences, lack of success, had USF won a Big East Championship in football and been moderatly successful in basketball, USF would have been attractive enough to warrant a courtship from the ACC.  Instead, USF will be in a weakened Big East with questionable BCS status.   USF needs to win at football over the next few years to ensure an invite to a BCS conference when expansion occurs.  We can't change the past and moan and groan on what the Big East should have done, at this point it is meaningless.  Moving forward, we the fans nee to continue to support the football program, attend the games, and donate if you can, USF has chance to be the next big thing when conferences expand again.  Whether we like it or not, the NCAA is moving towards super conferences and there will be a seat at the table as long as USF continues to do the right thing and win.

Hows the ACC invite working out for UConn and Cincy?

Cincinnati along with UofL is being mentioned for the Big 12 and its only a matter of time before UConn is in the ACC.

UConn's road to the ACC is not as smooth a road as you think. Boston College will block them and be successful in doing so.

UConn's other card of trying to get ND to the ACC is a pipe dream.
