We've scored 2 runs in the last two games combined. Our bats need to wake up or this is going to be a long season.

But same ole same ole, has been this easy for last few years. And even a the one recent year back when we did win our fair share of games, we still could not win the big ones when they mattered most. I know when I played we would have been extremely upset with a lose to ANY of those schools, but it just seems the bats are not here this year. The pitching has been lights out this year, team ERA of 3.50 is impressive in any league or level. Problem is our opponents ERA is lower then that! Our bats have been silent this year. Almost the half way point of the season and we have a team total of 7 HRs. UF hit half that many in one game earlier this year against us. The new stadium should help with recruiting. But we need to start recruiting both physically and mentally stronger hitters. Not many teams are going to win scoring less then 4 runs per game. Gotta step up the bats, and the rest will come.
