Has anyone used the system? If so, does it work well? I'm considering it for tailgating and other vacations.

It works great, I bought it in 2008 to watch the games from France. I didn't have any problems, you just need a good connection.

i have one... works pretty good.

to use it for tailgating you would need a pretty nice mobile broadband connection

So you would need a lap top connect card? I'm weighing my options between Slingbox and flo tv. Sling box has a mobile service now, a one time price of $29.99, after home equipment that I've priced arround $250-$300, then no subscription. Flo tv TV itself at least $150, then a $14.99 monthly subscription. The Flo tv screen is 3.5" diameter. My BB Bold has a 3" screen (in game viewing). Now, if I can just talk the wife into the "need".
