CANES / IRISH Renew Series

Something to REMEMBER, the CANES booked USF, when no other Florida school would.  Miami booked FSU, when they first started football.  Miami still plays FAMU even though NO OTHER big 3 Florida school will.  The CANES will probably at some point play all the new entrys in Florida football.  It is that attitude, ANYONE, ANYTIME.

I don't have a problem with UM, even if they don't renew the series.

My problem is with ND.

When the football schools looked like they would break away from the Big East, ND was an albatross around their necks. Later, ND made all sorts of promises about playing a home and home series with three Big East football schools a year to show their commitment. As the years went by, and ND became more secure of their situation in the conference, they repeatedly backpedaled on their assurances by setting various conditions, so that wouldn't happen.
