Yankees owner George Steinbrenner died this morning after suffering a massive heart attack, the Associated Press reports.

Steinbrenner celebrated his 80th birthday on July 4.

God Bless him, he is what every owner inspires to be. 

Now the All Star game is going to be a Yankee tribute, though.

You might hate the Yankees (I know I do)

But you can't question how much passion the man had for his team and for baseball in general, and his contributions to the game in each level.
