It seems some sources think this may happen.  You think the SEC will then take FSU to make it a 14 team conference?  if so you think woolard is on the phone with miami and the ACC top dogs to try to maneuver USF into the ACC?  I hope so.  I think USF is as attractive as any other BE school.  We are making leaps and bounds academically and athletically.

Texas and Texas A & M will never split.

It's like asking, "what happens if gravity were turned off?"

A & M has a few people like former Alabama football Coach Gene Stallings, who is a member of the A&M Board of Regents, pushing this.  Most of the regents are pushing to stay with Texas - wherever the Longhorns go.

From earlier today ---

ChipBrownOB: I'm told Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State are going to the Pac-10 with or without Texas A&M.

I bet Utah is cheering for a&m to the SEC right now.

I heard on ESPN 1010 that the only thing keeping Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State from announcing that they are going to the PAC10 is Texas A&M who is currently, right now, meeting with the SEC Commish.

The real questions is this... if the SEC takes A&M will they also jump on the ACC now? That would take this from interesting to something freaking awesome because then the ACC would be forced to raid the Big East and USF could be in the ACC before the end of this year.

This of course is one big what if...

I've read several things indicating that Texas has somehow/somewhere revealed it's not interested in the SEC. Where is this coming from?

Texas isn't interested.  A&M is, that is where this is coming from.
