If Coach Holtz fail. We'll bring back CJL. Because no one can do it like Jimmy.

yep a career sub par Conference record is getting it done.

He is exactly what we need to take us to the next level.

1) Better overall coaching and allowing them to be successful at their jobs

2) Better recruiting through PR and networking with the community

3) Better media relations - improves the coverage we get

on and on we go

hahahaha

you say that now but you were solidly behind leavitt and wanted leavitt to stay forever

manup for once!

I like the changes, so do not take this the wrong way, but we have moved into the big time college football arena now that we are past the inaugral coach stage.  All this PR is great, but lose  and see how fast the love affair ends.  The fan base will not give Holtz the lattitude Leavitt got in performance.  That comes with the territory now, he will not be able to have the "we are young" image.

That and if he changes the helmets to white I will hate this poser.. (haha)

agreed

he should have 3 full recruiting classes

leavitt left program in bad shape

holtz will get it done

he is a football man and a salesman

he is also very stable

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
