I knew this was his last season but to fire a guy in early Jan is somewhat questionable.

Probably got fired for having the distinction of coaching the only Big East basketball team that is actually worse that USF.

Look for Rutgers to make a change after the season and keep an eye out for the St John's coach should they fail to play in postseason. Depending on how the rest of the season goes Coach Heath's seat could get a little warm heading into his 4th season as USF head man.
