According to WDAE this firing was brewing for some time.  Apparently the Miller incident was simply the last straw of a whole series of things.  No details but sounds like Mike Leach at TT.

Maisel reports that Leavitt told players and coaches what to say to the investigators. If he tried to instigate a cover-up that will get you every time.
