First Inductees:  USF Swim TEam 1985 NCAA National Champions

First team to bring a national championship to USF.

Second Inductee: Dr. Rich Bowers First USF Athletic Director.

Third Inductee:  Wanda Guyton Women's Basketball.  Only USF player with 1000 points and 1000 rebounds.

Fourth Inductee:  Michelle Scarbourough Jillian USF Rifle Team.

I went to this. It was a first class event.

I have no idea why we got rid of swimming and rifle.

I have no idea why we got rid of swimming and rifle.

Not sure that is it. They were gone well before football. I think they may be title IX neutral since rifle was both men and women on one team and swimming had mens and womens.

My guess is that the old AD did not like the costs.
