http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/sports_college_fsu/2009/10/jimbo-fishers-first-31-games-vs-jeff-bowdens-final-31-games-a-detailed-comparison.html

I was reading the above Orlando Sentinel blog about offensive numbers for Jimbo Fisher as compared to Jeff Bowden. They have a breakdown of Jimbo's 31 games at FSU. I couldn't help but notice that USF held him to the lowest rushing yardage in his career with the Noles.  (19, which is 28 yards less than the next closest)

It got me curious, so I tried to find a game-by-game breakdown of all the teams he's faced as an OC, including his time at LSU, Cincy, and Samford. Couldn't find those stats. Nor could I find the last time when FSU was only held to 19yds rushing. Any ideas?

Still, pretty cool.

I still find it hard to believe they put that game in the hands of Christian Ponder (the Johnathon Crompton of Florida).  He had no time all game long, but they still refused to try more than 1 per drive.

I was wondering if that was the lowest a Bobby Bowden team has ever been held?

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
