Toro Loco?

Outside of Grothe, Daniels, and Landi, I haven't really paid attention to our QB recruiting. But according to my handy-dandy iPhone app (CFB Plus!), we also have Eppes, Marc, and Virgin on the roster at QB. Are they redshirting, or could they play in the Toro Loco?

Eppes is a walk-on, Marc is now 2nd team safety, and Virgin is a tight end.

Virgin is also redshirting... and I don't think the coaches will pull him into the game to be  3rd string QB.

Daniels, T Wilson and Landi would most likely be used together in one of the Toro Loco formations.

In a surprise Toro Loco formation, I'd love to see Armando Sanchez utilized. He might have the strongest arm on the entire team and as a LB can block really well. FSU wouldn't have a clue if they saw him lined up on offense. LOL

Canales seems to be thinking outside the box. I read that one late night recently he contacted Grothe to tell him about a great play he just dreamed up. LOL

With Grothe lined up wide and some good blocking, there were all kinds of double and triple pass plays, reverses, and boot legs possible.

I'm guessing if Canales is planning on running el Toro Loco, and not just quarterback draws or the basic wildcat play, someone with QB chops will be lining up out wide. That could be either Daniels, Landi, or Eppes, but I don't see this formation going off as practiced otherwise.

My guess is the number of times we see the Toro Loco on saturday is zero.
