Selvie Named to Hendricks Watch List

Chicago, IL  - The Ted Hendricks Foundation announced that George Selvie is among the 30 pre-season candidates for the 2009 Ted Hendricks Defensive End of the Year Award.

Selvie is a two-time All-American and previous finalist for the Hendricks Award.  He narrowly lost out on the award in 2007, when it went to Virginia alum Chris Long.

On Tuesday, Selvie was named to the Lott Trophy Watch List.  He has was also a candidate for that award in 2008.
