same thing you say when we win.....

maybe now this can be actually be considered a rivalry.....before it was always the Yanks on top now in the future you can always point back to 2004.....like you pointed back to 1918.

Enjoy it.....it will have to last you a life time.

It's one of the best rivalries in sports....deal with it. If both teams were buddy-buddy do you think it would of got the ratings and interest it attracted this year?

Boston winning the World Series is a fluke. Other than the colosal choke job by Rivera teams that are down 0-3 in LCS don't come back and win. I'll give credit to the Redsox for coming back but 9 times out of 10, the events that transpired this year don't happen.

Oh btw, the reason people don't like the Yankees is b/c they win. Everything else is an excuse b/c most fans would love for their team to be in the mix of things every year. Please save me the $200-million salary comebacks b/c the RedSox's payroll is just as high.

The yankmees payroll was actually 57 million dollars higher then the red sox. Quite a differnece as that could have got us two skeletons of former great pitchers that could have choked for us. Also the World Series ratings blew the roof off of last years ratings with the yankees playing.  Yankees winning their last 26 championships were a fluke. Fluke? HAHAHAHAHAHA

Hey gayrod do you want to use your 9 iron or pitching wedge?

Fluke... right...   this was no more a fluke than the Yankees winning any of their championships.  The yankees were not good enough to put away the sox... the sox came up with clutch hitting (Sox are Rivera's Daddy), baserunning, pitching down the stretch.

This is the farthest thing from a fluke that anyone has ever seen in sports.  There is always next year Yankee fans...  But now that the Curse of A-Rod has begun... maybe there isn't that either.

Ratings were up because the cards draw more than the marlins not because the sox draw more than the yankees.

Ratings were up because people wanted to see history, so hence, the sox drew more than the yankees.  If the sox went back to the series next year, ratings wouldn't be as high... the novelty factor put it over the top.

The best team won... that is not a fluke.

Denial smazz... it really did happen, the sox won, and now the yankees are the perennial chokers.
