bulls96go Posted November 7, 2004 Group: Member Topic Count: 724 Content Count: 10,219 Reputation: 2 Days Won: 0 Joined: 01/17/2002 Share Posted November 7, 2004 if those two recruiting classes where that good why didn't we improvewhy are we holding better players out?i think our recruitng was over ratedthose two classes should have displaced the players we have on field nowforget those two classesleavitt better get 25 new players in february that can start immediatelysmazza a little perspective. if you look at our games there are a few big mental mistakes per game that hurt us on defense. we are faster and as the young guy's get experience under good coaching they are improving week to week.the offense is another matter. the guy's at WR are faster and almost always open sometimes by two strides or more, the RB are getting more yards per carry, the Oline despite 8 in the box are getting holes for the RB's and giving pj time to throw. the TE every time i see him is wide open and can pitch a tent but hardly gets a sniff. the QB's with 5 and 3 years in the system can't hit hulk hogan if he was a fish in a one inch barrel, and can't do a two count checkdown.what i am saying is you have better talent (execpt QB)but the coaching and scheme (OC and QB coach) have not manned up to the competition and needs to be changed, NOW!with denson here and grothe and/or hill comming we will be better at QB. i will only be pesimistic about 2006 and beyond if the OC and QB coach are not promptly gotten rid of at the end of the year or sooner Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
