O is for Operational.

The suddenly prudent Matt Grothe -- who was a random event generator of undeniable talent for the South Florida Bulls in 2006 and 2007 -- is suddenly a sleek model of corporate efficiency, throwing no picks and coughing up no fumbles in the 41-10 win against NC State. The return of a healing Mike Ford to the lineup helps, as well. The running back is the unheralded balancing factor to Grothe in the offense, and will be key in the long run through the Big East.
