ok...so i was doing some research on where visitors can park and this is what i found:

http://www.gopack.com/ViewArticle.dbml?&DB_OEM_ID=9200&ATCLID=535192

  • General paid parking is done on a first come/first serve basis at the Horse Complex on Frank Weedon Drive and Trinity Farms near the intersection of Trinity Road and Blue Ridge Road.  General free parking is at the NC State Vet School fields accessible from Blue Ridge Road and Hillsborough Street.
  • All NC State controlled lots will open up 4 hours prior to kick off.
  • Stadium: Gate 4 will open 2 hours prior to kick-off for suite and club seat holders.  All other gates will open 1-1/2 priors to kick-off
  • Handicapped parking:  All handicap spaces surrounding the Carter-Finley are given out as annual parking passes to season ticket holders, and assigned based on Wolfpack Club priority.  On game day, handicap customers can park at Cardinal-Gibbons high school and ride the shuttle over to and from the Wolf Statue in front of the Murphy Center.  This shuttle runs every 15 minutes and travels only to and from the statue.  It will NOT take fans to the West or East entrance gates.  (I'm not sure if this is applicable to non-season ticket holders)

Here's a map for the stadium parking....it won't really do that much for us since we can't really park here but i just wanted to point out where the students usually tailgate just fyi

my coworker went to nc state and he tells me that the students tailgate in the stadium southeast and the state fairgrounds parking lots
