Any of you boys retired at 31 after going to the pro bowl several times? ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Why, have you?

I know we have the same number of rings as him (zero) and we scored the same number of points in the NFC Championship as him (zero).

Doesn't he live in the Carolinas ?

Wonder if he'd consider a job back at UCF ?

He reminds a lot of Doug Williams.  Dougie spent the early years in Tampa Bay as the athletic QB with a cannon arm.  He went off to the USFL, and ended up going through a few knee surgeries.  He kept working, and ended up QBing the Redskins to a Super Bowl victory.  Culpepper no longer is the athletic specimen he once was, but he can re-invent himself as a capable QB if he has the patience to do so.  He doesn't strike me as patient.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
