Coaches is the one that counts, in terms of the BCS...... The AP does not mean crap.

His whole excuse is probably so he can show recruits that his team is #46-#50 in the country and not that far behind USF... even though a single point from anyone gets you roughly a spot from 46 to 50, whether deserving or not.  As long as he has a vote, he could be 0-11 and still be in the top 50 in the coaches poll.

Coaches is the one that counts, in terms of the BCS...... The AP does not mean crap.

Actually the AP does mean crap, they reserve the right to name a national champ every year....the AP # 1 at the end of the season will hold the title of national champion regardless of the BCS....in 2003, USC was the AP #1 while LSU won the BCS....both were Co-National Champions and were both recognized for it.
