Golf Courses around Fort Myers

Hi

Am heading down to Sanibel with the folks after the Pitt game in early October, Can anyone recommend where me and my Dad should play around there, both decent golfers (handicaps approx 13) so looking for something that's a bit of a challenge but not massively severe...cost, nothing to expensive but willing to pay for a decent place.

Any suggestions?

Shell Point Golf Club is a pretty good course, and it won't hurt you so much in the wallet. If you want to play a great course, but spend a little more $ (which is well worth it in my opinion), then I would go with Pelican Preserve. These are just a couple of the courses I have played myself. I tried to think of courses closer to the beaches. If you need more options let me know, my folks live down there and my dad plays his share of golf.
