ESPN signs 15-year deal with SEC

How will this effect our coverage??  Its gonna be SEC first then BIG EAST

It sure does seem like there are going to be WAY more SEC games on ESPN/ESPN2. IMO there is no disputing that the SEC is the current powerhouse in college football. The national saturation can only help to improve that. What we must do is recruit the snot out of the Sunshine state, and beat any and all SEC opponents that we may encounter.

I think the Big East will continue to play on off nights and Sat midday, which won't hurt us too much.

This deal is monumental for the SEC...considering this isn't even their main TV deal.

thank god for no more Raycom!

Deal shouldn't really affect the Big East that much.  The SEC has been ESPN's top choice for some time, that's why there are usually SEC games on ESPN in the primetime slots.  It will probably affect the ACC more than the Big East.
