just thought id share that.

(i know he only has 11 at bats)  but since a few people around here like to judge whole careers on a single performance i thought i would point it out.

honestly, i think it has more to do with the pressure then anything else.  being the player that goes to the yankees in a deadline deal is a crazy amount of pressure.  even for a guy who has played in NY before

He handled the pressure well for the MEts.  He was clutch and most fans loved him.  I was pissed when we let him go.

Probably just getting used to the ball parks, AL pitching, new team etc.  He is a above average hitter, he'll come around.

playing full seasons for the mets is a lot different then being a pirate and then over night being sent to the yankees in a trade deadline deal.

Last Night:

NY Yankees    AB  R  H  RBI  BB  SO  LOB  AVG

Nady, LF          5  1  4    6    0  0    3    .334

I think he'll be ok  ;)

Overall I think the Yanks did a great job at the deadline. I love the fact we got Pudge! I was at the games this weekend and the team and fans were fired up again like I remember when I lived there. It should be a great second half for us. LETS GO YANKEES!

im gonna guess his education.  you understand in the pea-sized brain of yours some people go to college out of state.

or maybe it was for the cheap living, lack of common sense in the workfields, or easy girls.

OR maybe he wants to vote in the state that does voting the best  :P
