*****The magic number this year is most likely going to be 12 wins get you into the Big East tourney.  13 wins should lock up a spot.  USF will need to win just one game in each of the final two series (SJU and ND) of the year to accomplish that.  My guess is that USF will be a number 7 or 8 seed going into the tourney which means they will most likely face the Irish or Red Storm.  Doubtful that they can reach the 6 seed, but it is possible they can fall to 8, as Rutgers still has 3 games in hand on the Bulls.

We have made the Big East Tournament the last two years.

As weak as this conference is in baseball - not making the tournament is a travesty.

Last year we did pretty well in the tournament 2-2.

This league has no true standout baseball team so in reality once we get in, we have a chance to win it if we play well and get a few breaks.
